「A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better.
This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle.」

「Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back」

「Cottage is well equipped and hosts left us welcome items such as fresh bread and milk on arrival . Good facilities in the kitchen and bathroom and good heating ! Everything was very clean.
