"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

Contemporary cottage retreat in secluded valley near sea. Sleeps 8

"This is the second time we have been to this cottage as we loved it the first time round. This time we noticed it wasn’t very clean in terms of really dusty cabinets and a lot of dust/webs down the side of the beds. All the linen was lovely and clean, but things like the decorative pillows and sofas were all covered in stains and looking a bit worse for wear. The driveway and entrance to the house was in desperate need of some TLC, all looked very tatty which is a massive shame as we love this house and location. A bit of a refresh needed!"

"Most enjoyable stay, the room we had was spacious and beautifully decorated with a view of the river, and the bed was the softest we had ever slept in! Staff were really lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was especially good but the main menu was somewhat limited although of high quality, There was a small car park on site, and plenty of on-road parking although this was very busy during the day. However there was a large quay-side carpark opposite the hotel so there were no problems with parking. Will definitely return and cannot recommend them highly enough."
