“A B&B that I will definitely stay again whenever I visit St. Austell. Warm, cozy and great location (it only takes less than 5 mins walking distance from St. Austell station, 10 mins walk to town centre) it's like going home as owner was friendly and warm, deco was warm and lovely, and most of all, home cooked and wide choice of breakfast was magnificent. I believe it is the worthiest place to stay with all these and amazingly low pricing charged. Big thumb up and highly recommended.”

“Perfect location close to a beautiful beach and near to harbour, perfect host Katie, nothing was to much trouble, lovely breakfast and super comfortable clean room, bonus was excellent off road parking, would stay again and recommend to others.”

“Sarah was wonderful and so helpful. She’d moved a few weeks previously to a smaller property. Still a 1700s build with a sea view. Traditionally furnished but sensitively updated. So, not what we thought we’d booked, but we were very happy. Our room overlooked a cute courtyard and had garden picked flowers in cute vases in the room and in the excellent en-suite. It was a restful place made so by Sarah and her calm wonderful dogs. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it all, especially……

“In der Unterkunft wird viel Wert darauf gelegt, dass alles adrett und sauber ist. Das Frühstück war eher einfach bzw. reduziert, Parkplätze hinter dem Haus oder über Nacht kostenlos am Visitor Center. Insgesamt ein guter Startpunkt für Tintagel Castle und Küstenwanderungen.”

“The hotel was awful, dirty. Couldn't have dinner hotel to busy. Breakfast had to be pre ordered, then one breakfast was forgotten. Had to keep asking for items. The poached eggs were rock hard. The whole experience was a nightmare. Found cut dirty toe nails on the bed. cobwebs in the bedroom. Pool area was terrible. Hotel needs a complete refurb. Some photos couldn't be uploaded. ”

“This B&B was well located to explore the area. The room was sufficient and comfortable for a 2 night stay and there was enough free parking and restaurants round about which helped make the stay easy.”

“Best views from our room of the sea. Nice touches include fridge milk water cake and expresso maker. Lovely and quiet. Close to station to reach St.Ives. Beach nearby easy to walk too. Breakfast was made to order and plentiful. Love the less use of plastics. Definitely the best hotel so far. Beds so comfy.”

“Very pleasant 1 night stay. No complaints about anything. Hope to return in summer to enjoy the garden. Very popular with the locals by the look of it. It would be my choice of place to meet friends and family if I were local. Loved the roaring real fire when we arrived on a cold wet day. ”
