Okay—yes, this is an older hotel. But here’s the thing: it’s spotless. Like, cleaner than some of these “new and trendy” places that clearly gave up halfway. Front desk? Absolute win. The woman there was genuinely kind and actually helpful (not the fake, robotic kind). No elevator and I got the 3rd floor—cool. But instead of just wishing me luck, she had someone carry my suitcase up. That’s how you handle it. And let’s not ignore the real MVP detail… cookies. Warm, welcoming, and honestly just the cherry on top. Older? Yes. Better service than most newer hotels? Also yes.

The service was great. The room was very clean. The dog park was good. The breakfast was good. The waffles are great. A lot of carb options with just eggs as protein which I know is hard to have. Just apples and juice for fruit options.

Parking was easy and safe. Love the location across from the University entrance. Easy to walk to sporting events and not worry about campus parking. Was quite happy and thankful we got a free upgraded King Suite. the accomodations were reasonable for the price paid. Breakfast items were lacking at times but made due with what they had. Waffles and toppings, as well as biscuits and gravy were good. Lack of milk was disappointing, as well as no gravy on our last morning. Floor creaking from room above was not pleasant and interrupted early morning sleep. Be aware there is no elevator at this property. Not a problem for us though. Will stay again!

Hotel is a block away from University of Idaho. Excellent place to stay if touring UI or visiting a student there. Room was clean. Shower had good water pressure. Staff at check-in was very efficient and kind. Breakfast was missing fruit or protein (neither sausage nor eggs); however, there was coffee, oatmeal and waffles.

The property was nice but showed its age in the room. The room smelled clean and the bed was comfortable. The doors were loud every time someone shut and opened their rooms near us. The breakfast was very disappointing with not many options. But the staff were all friendly and helpful.
