「The hotel is basically brand new. The rooms and bathrooms are modern, clean, and well appointed. The hotel lobby has a nice open atrium area that is suitable for lounging. Stag was wonderful. The neighborhood is pretty good by Detroit standards. Close to Little Caesar’s arena. 」

「I had double booked my reservation, and cancelled the wrong date as soon as I learned of it. This hotel still charged me for both. They accepted over $400 and refused to cancel it because it was a "no show." They present themselves as a luxury hotel, but their customer service was that of a much lower class facility. I would not recommend booking here under any circumstances. They provided no service at all, but they kept my payment. 」

「Very eclectic setting. Loved the vibe. Front desk check-in was quick and staff were very nice. They were the only staff we dealt with. Came off the elevator and carpet was dirty with debris. Room was very quiet and we were close to the elevator. Room seemed clean but worn. Tv was in a terrible spot and needs to be moved. Bathroom was so cool and very spacious! Temperature of the room was comfortable. Bed and pillows were perfect for us. All in all 4 stars.」

「Exceeded expectations. Great hotel that is perfectly located in downtown Detroit. Walking distance to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, and Ford Field. Also Detroit Opera House, Fillmore, and Fox. Room was awesome. Breakfast in Rise is very good. The Lone Goat pub is attached and awesome. Lots of shops, cocktail bars, etc in the immediate area. Definitely will go back.」

「The hotel was clean and renovated. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was good as well. Overall everything was great. The only problem I had was the ice machine wasn't working on the floor I was on but everything else was perfect.」

「Clean room. Facility is clean. Structured. Room very comfortable. Valet attendants go above. Courteous, helpful as I am handicapped needed care to load/unload. Once we learned the access to the hotel not being where the casino is was much easier. A lot of construction in the area. 」

「The A/C was broken, did not function at all; the shower door has high pitch squeaking sound every time i closed it. Everything else is good.」
