Hindmarsh Valley Mount Billy Conservation Park Hotels

"The house presented well - the kitchen well equipped - overall decor was lovely. Unfortunately there was a musty smell in the front bedroom combined with many scented candles was overwhelming. For the high cost of cleaning it looked as though it had had a 'quick' check over. The bath area was full of leaves which had attracted a few cockroaches but, given it is outside, I over looked this. We tried to open the outside window to sit and have our breakfast and it was very dirty and difficult to open. It was not easy to close. We also wanted to have a BBQ but it was dirty so had to cook inside. Our relaxing sleep-in was disturbed by the neighbour's early morning renovations. Overall a bit disappointing. Not sure I would return. "

"Excellent service, a very comfortable bed, and lovely views from the room. The hotel was spotless overall and perfectly located, close to everything and within walking distance. The staff were wonderful: always friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. I especially appreciated the advance notice about hotel events that might cause some noise. That was very considerate, and in fact, the live music wasn’t an issue at all as it sounded so lovely, so it was actually quite lovely knowing what to expect. The only small suggestion would be to ensure extra attention is paid to cleaning around the shower drain, as there was a bit of hair. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much and we would book the same hotel again if we ever visit "

"Why stay in a motel when you have a studio cabin at the caravan club. A clean, comfortable ensuite room supplied with linen, microwave, crockery, cutlery and dishwashing provisions. Plus access to the parks facilities. Better than a motel."
