「My family and I stayed here over a long weekend so we can visit some local attractions, including Cave of the Mounds. The house was great - 3 bedrooms, including a "kid's room" with 2 twin beds. It was a clean, long ranch house with one entire wall consisting of windows looking out to the back, which was all nature. A short walk out the back leads to a cliff with beautiful views of the neighboring hills and valleys. We saw turkeys each morning. The host, Barbara, was very easy to communicate...

「We were in town visiting sick family and unfortunately spent most of our time at the hospital. The home was located within 15 mins of UW Hospital and many local restaurants and shopping. The home had plenty of bedrooms and space if traveling with a larger group. We did take our dog and though there isn’t much yard space the neighborhood is great for a walk. Very safe and quiet. The only negative to the house would be the stairs if anyone has mobility issues. You have to do stairs to get to...

「I enjoyed this location. Was the perfect size for one person (or a couple’s getaway). The room was secure and safe. Clean and had some nice little extras in the room. 「Our stay at the Pink Acorn was amazing! Kelly truly makes her guests feel welcome. She left a sweet note and lovely treats. The house is stocked with everything you need and was exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfortable and have nice cozy blankets. Am added bonus was seeing rabbits and chipmunks in the backyard. Kelly leaves directions to walk to the beach around the corner and it’s a must do…and make sure to grab some ice cream at the shop across from the park.」

「We were so happy with the property after a long day lf fishing the area. Perfectly equipped for getting meals together and settling in. The host made sure we had everything we needed to access the house before we got there regardless of me having trouble with lack of cell service while out for the day. Overall we had a great stop and would recommend the house to anyone visiting Mineral Point.」

「My friends and I (2 couples and a single) stayed here for a friend's wedding on the east side of Madison. The location was very convenient, with Uber rides into town at about $10. We also enjoyed the nearby Olbrich gardens and bike paths. The house itself is charming and has all amenities. It is a bit creaky so you'll hear every footstep of your housemates during the stay, but it wasn't too annoying.」
