「Ideal for both fly fishing and family gatherings with friends. I can't image a better setting. Great house and outdoor socializing area. We found fish in-spite of less than ideal fishing weather. Great place to get reacquainted with many of our best friends who live in the area. We were able to get away from our hectic daily routines without have to back-pack into the deep wilderness. 「My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while visiting our daughter for family weekend at Juniata College. My daughter also stayed over one night. Extremely clean and well equipped house, beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we visit her. Only slight thing to be aware of is it's a pretty long gravel road to get to the house so be aware if that's an issue for your car (it was fine for us).」

「This cute little cabin was the perfect short-get-away place to relax. We loved the decor and it was impeccably clean with well kept grounds. We were able to bring our dog and she had plenty of outdoor space to play while we sat out and read or roasted marshmallows in the firepit. 「Bear’s Den is a great getaway home tucked away in the woods with a screened in patio that is great for peace and quiet, bird watching, or sipping your morning coffee. 「We had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very nice to have hot food available for breakfast. We didn't make use of the pool or gym facilities but these are great additions. The only down sides were: staying on the side of the hotel that faces the railway tracks (you can here the trains go by all night) and that there was no recycling options for plastic cups etc. 」
