「We keep coming back to this property year after year, and we have a great time every year. It’s great to unplug and unwind for a few days, and this is a great place to do that. They provide everything needed to make this laid back weekend easy. 」

「The cabin is as described - although it is a dry cabin, it offered a lot of little amenities that make it a lot nicer. Yes, the bugs are bad - but you have to expect that in Northern MN. The outhouse was a little overwhelming depending on the time of day - not sure if it’s venting as it should, but that was the only thing that was a disappointment. We had a severe thunderstorm roll in over night, and we were certainly happy to be in a cabin. 」

「This place was everything we were looking for for a quiet get away. We enjoyed everything the hosts offered — pontoon, hot tub, kayaks, small rocky beach for kids to be kids and although we were initially shocked there was only one TV in the whole house, we welcomed it as it forced us to think about not being on electronic devices and to instead do campfires and family board games. We enjoyed every minute!」

「It was me and my dog flash, here over a long weekend. I look for properties with not a lot of action going on. I am an introvert and thrive on peace, solitude and tranquility. This place filled those boxes nicely. The Sax-Zim bog is nearby and Duluth is not far either. Birders, a great place to be near the bog!!! The pics are just a couple of the ones I took at Sax-Zim. 」

「Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). 「Kyle’s property is beautiful. Home was well stocked, clean and made for a perfect vacation. The large deck has wonderful lakefront views and spot for relaxing. The gym was a great feature for those who want to stay active and for fun family games of HORSE. Kyle was great in responding promptly through the reservation process and the neighbors are very friendly. The Side Lake Store is perfect for those things you may have forgotten, they are very friendly. We even caught a book signing by a local...

「Overall loved the cabin and the experience! Luke was VERY responsive and we had everything we needed. The cabin was well equipped with beds & linens, supplies, games, kitchen utensils, an awesome gas grill and Traeger smoker, sauna and a private boat launch. Side note, the pictures were taken with a wide angle lens and they make the space look bigger than it actually is. However, the space is very comfortable and clean! Fun was had by all! We are already considering staying here again for skiing...

「We're on a journey to visit every state park in Minnesota. We decided to come to the this area to celebrate my birthday and Father's day. We couldn't have found a better spot. It was super close to one of the parks and it was very quiet and inviting. Loved the subtle touches in the house and how we had everything we needed availabile to us. Very affordable too! Highly recommend to anyone coming to the Side Lake area! 」
