Relaxing

We were looking for some down time and relaxing away from our normal busy lives and this place fit the bill perfectly. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, kayaking and just some good Mountain View therapy. We loved the house and the location was perfect. Looking forward to future trips here.

Great to get away from the crowds at the National Parks. Blanchard Caverns was amazing. Cabin was quiet and we enjoyed kayaking and swimming on Sylamore Creek. Firewood provided was a really nice plus. The kitchen was well supplied and great for cooking most of our meals. If looking for a quiet getaway it is perfect.

Mini vaca 2023

Great cabin, as advertised. Although the road to get to the cabin is a gravel road, it's well maintained. Very quiet place to relax. Great view of the night sky. Short drive to town to get supplies or enjoy some of the local culture. Will visit again.

Our family Thanksgiving getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay at Jane’s Bend in Mountain View Arkansas! From the time I booked our trip right up until we arrived our host Emily was responsive and so helpful. The cabin was perfect for our large family! So clean and right on the water. We enjoyed the kayaks, ping pong table and the games the cabin provided. We also enjoyed the recommendations for restaurants, attractions and more on the guide that was provided. We would definitely recommend staying at Jane’s Cabin to anyone😊

Lovely property

I really enjoyed my time at the cabin. It did seem like it would be more private from the listing. There were a few very close neighbors, which was okay, just not expected. I also would have loved to have curtains on the downstairs windows/doors to feel safest. Overall, was wonderful and beautiful. Too cold to swim at this time of the year but was a beautiful swimming spot.

A very impressive property and a perfect experience

I rented this house along with Jack's Bend at the same time for my bachelor party (I say "party" but in reality is was more like a short vacation with a bunch of friends). This was my first AirBnB experience, and it was excellent. Absolutely no complaints or problems. Emily and Virginia where very fast communicators, very friendly, and very accommodating. The house was really clean and really stylish and it was clear that much work had been done to make the whole place very nice. It was impressive. My mattress was high quality, the sheets and towels and everything was perfect, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, the kitchen appliances were all brand new, the decor was really neat - like I said it was just very impressive. Nothing was low quality. Outside the house was even better though. The new deck and stairs were awesome and well built. But nothing man made can beat the beauty of nature - and that was proved by the Sylamore Creek that ran behind the property. The water was so refreshing! It was so clear and nice and cold in late August, and there was fish, mostly trout I think, everywhere. I saw a few big ones but we only managed to catch small ones. We also kayaked and canoed up and down the stream, and it was amazing. That was my favorite part of the trip! This place was the perfect Ozarks hideout! It was tucked deep into the forest far away from the bright lights (you can see the milky way with the naked eye!) and busy streets, yet the house has everything you need to live comfortably just like your in a big city hotel or something. The best of both worlds. I'm thinking about coming back here soon!

Our weekend retreat

We had a great time staying in the cabin it was so quiet and peaceful. Check in and check out was very simple. We couldn’t reach the landowner though for any instructions once we got there. All in all it was a fantastic trip

Great little property

This is a great little property that is dog friendly. We try to come here once or twice a year with our pets who have a wonderful time swimming in the Sylamore Creek. It's a very relaxing location and has a great back patio with grill. We toasted s'mores one night around the fire pit outside. It's easy driving distance to Blanchard Springs. Just remember to bring any alcohol with you if you drink as the county is a dry county. Property owners are easily accessible with good communication.

Fantastic Place

Wonderful vacation

The cabin is in the perfect location! We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. My boys and nieces enjoyed the creek even though it was a little cold. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.

Easter vacation at Jane's Bend

Wonderful cabin,the views from the deck are amazing and so peaceful. Having a glass of wine by the fire at night was also amazing. We definitely would like to come back in warmer weather.

Great place to get away

This property is everything it says it is! It’s clean and stocked with all the basics. Plenty of room for our group of 6. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly during our stay but we still got out on the kayaks. Kids enjoyed ping pong and cornhole. Would love to come back during the summer to fully enjoy the river.

Awesome getaway

From the accurate description to the great communication, this was a great experience. The property is the perfect place to unwind and leave your worries at home. Location, views, comfort and everything you could need are there for your enjoyment. Just grab your clothes and some groceries and enjoy the stay. We will be back for sure!!

girls trip!

We had a wonderful time, beautiful property, clean accommodations! We will come back! The oven doesn't quite work at Jane's bend--we were never able to get it hot enough.. And one of the kayaks definitely leaks--just about had a friend sunk! The neighbors were entertaining as well! But those things only made for more of an "experience"! Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Perfect location

We spent a long weekend in Jane’s Bend and could not have been happier. Emily was very responsive- check in/out, directions and all info was clear and easy. Bed comfortable. House clean. Kitchen well stocked. Grill/propane worked well. LOVED having the kayaks - doggies enjoyed swimming with us in Sylmore creek. We have rented many cabins in the area and this is by far the best and our new fav spot. Already planning to return in a few months.

Great Cabin on South Sylamore Creek For The Whole Family

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Jane’s Bend! Enough room for 2 families with 2 kids each. There was something to do for everyone! Kids loved playing, swimming & kayaking in the creek! The adults loved hanging out on the deck & fire pit area while enjoying the awesome view of the creek. The communication with the owner was great and she immediately sent us an online welcome packet that could be downloaded as an app on our phones. We referred to it often! It was nice and spacious where we could all spread out and not be right on top of each other, but we honestly spent most of our time outside. They did have WiFi which was spotty at best, but we expected that. Would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the creek more, but the cold water didn’t stop our kids!

Great Hot Weather Vacation Spot

We stayed here for Spring Break with the Grand kids. The provided kayaks were great for the one warm day we had. Only one fish was caught, the first day. But being the Springtime, we had rain the other days but there were plenty of board games, etc to keep everyone happy. Highly recommended for the the hot summer months for creek fun.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

If you are looking for a place to relax, kayak, grill out, go on walks, and enjoy family this is place to go. Our family of 10 could not have asked for a better place to stay for our Christmas vacation. The house was clean, nicely decorated, very well heated, had everything we needed to make meals, several outside games, and a great outside fire pit. Our family would love to come back again!

Peace and quiet

We stayed for 2 days 3 nights at this property and had a blast. Kids enjoyed the kayaking and created some fun memories. Outside fire pit was our daily gathering place, most importantly the peaceful sounding was what we were looking for and got it here, thanks Emily for excellent communication.

Family cabin

This cabin was wonderful. It had plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy our long weekend. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. The deck was great and we spent a lot of time out there. The creek is right there and easy to get to. There are kayaks and large tubes to float on the creek. It is well maintained and very clean. Everyone is ready to come back again.

Absolutely wonderful!

This cabin is a little slice of heaven on earth! The cabin decor was perfect, and everything was neat and clean. The kayaks and private access to the creek was absolutely amazing! The fenced in deck was perfect for our 2 year old and dog. We enjoyed our evenings by the fire and the grill was a nice bonus. The kitchen was well stocked. Emily was great and always available to answer any questions. We will plan a return visit!

Cabin with everything
