"We planned and attended a wedding at Blanchard Springs area. My father is 92 and loves the river. He enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watch the river roll by. The view was beautiful. This property was very clean, modern, and elegant. The bedrooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this property for a larger family. All 8 of us enjoy the stay."

"The most enjoyable thing we did at the cabin was sit on the porch and listen to the rain. It's a great spot for peace and quiet. We especially enjoyed thoughtful details like bathrobes provided in the bathroom and the cozy quilts. Parking was adequate for two vehicles and we believe three could park there if none were very large (e.g. extended-cab pickups). We aren't really TV watchers and never turned it on, but if you are, be aware it's a small screen and situated in a corner and two of the chairs are situated with their backs to it. Also, as the listing mentions, the property does not have WiFi. Cellular service is also spotty to non-existent, or was for us on AT&T, so don't rely on cellular data for backup or count on being able to make phone calls."

"We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down."
