Very cute. Great host. It’s a little noisy for sleeping. Lots of traffic outside. But there are 2 fans and a noise machine that helped. Overall, cute house, very clean, and you can walk to shops and restaurants.

Perfect retreat

This little house is the perfect place to unplug and reset ! The front porch was my favorite spot. The first night I thought the traffic might bother me, but about 10:00 everything in Mt View shuts down . I will go back again and recommend it to everyone.

The property had been very nicely maintained and updated. Everything about it is easy to recommend. The only thing I would suggest is a small table in the kitchen. We did not require one but those choosing to cook inside or use the grill provided might need a place To sit and done. We would definitely stay there again.

Location location location

If you're coming to listen to the music on the square you can't beat this property, no hills just cut through an empty parking lot & you're there. It's located right on Main street so you can shop & eat without having to drive. We sat on front porch with a drink & watch the cars go by. The cons for this property is Main Street is a busy road & the bedroom is at the front of the house. Luckily traffic dies down around 10:30pm, the bed is somewhat hard & not a king. The pros outweighed the cons for us by far! We enjoyed a relaxing weekend here which was our goal. Owner is very responsive to any problems or questions.

Didn't have to drive. Could walk everywhere and there was a band near the courthouse both nights. Music was great. One thing I didn't like was the bathtub. It was slippery and there was nothing to hold onto. II was concerned about falling in the bathtub. Need a mat and hand grips.

Wonderful spring getaway…

Stayed a few days at the Nook on Main, and introduced 2 of my teenaged granddaughters to Mountain View, Gunner Pool area, and Blanchard Spring Caverns. We had great adventures and experiences while there. The Nook was perfect for our needs.

Great Location!

Great location for walking to all the shops and music at the square. It’s right on Main Street but the noise didn’t bother us thanks to the sound machine provided!

Perfect location

Home was cozy and in walking distance to main street businesses. Bed was incredibly comfortable, home was clean with a welcoming ascetic. Would love to return for our next visit.

Nook on Main

This property was in an excellent location; close to downtown, walking distance to restaurants and stores, and was in a safe area! The property manager was very helpful and kind! The only problem that we had, was that it did have a relatively strong smell of moth balls. Granted, we did stay during the beginning of winter, and it is an older house. Still yet, be prepared to have to adjust the smell if you stay there.
