「Had a wonderful stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find the property was very private with no houses or other people around. The pictures of the property don't quite do this spot justice. Loved that you could also hear the nearby creek as well. I'll be back for sure.」

「My family and I came in all the way from Laramie, Wyoming. We have a lot of family within a couple hours in a variety of directions from this place so it was the perfect center for our itinerary. The spot is beautiful and my one regret is not getting to spend more time sitting out on the porch, watching the fireflies and drinking coffee. Kids had a blast exploring. My wife and I had a chance to relax, take in the country air, and just decompress. Lots around the house for all of us to do, the...

「The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals. The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable. All in all a great escape from CLT.We...
