The room is nice. It was clean. Lots of nice things about it - lovely linens and towels. Modern vibe. However, the property is on a very busy road and we heard traffic all night long. There is nowhere to put your clothes or suitcse, but a rather large kitchen (which is great - but we weren't cooking anything). We were overcharged about 100 - and haven't gotten resolution.

Beautiful property nice place

The property was beautiful and the amenities were nice. My only couple of complaints is that the windows were absolutely filthy so gazing at the stars was difficult. The hot water heater has minimal hot water. I think that could be fixed by an adjustment on the temperature dial as we had to have it on for.

Great idea poor follow through

First I’d like to say it’s a lovely location and a great idea. The little studio had all you need for a weekend getaway.However, we arrived at 11pm on a Friday, thus it was dark. The address/coordinates on VRBO take you to the woods on the opposite side of town by a holiday inn. There is no desk so when you call there is no one to answer/help. So I check vrbo, then the email the property sent. I’m exhausted at this point and I’m reading instructions and comparing it to my maps to to navigate and search in the dark, finally found it. Email noted you will see flags, NO flags. They have a sign BUT no light eliminating the road sign. Beds on the firm side, just informational. They attempted a coffee table with countertop used from kitchen and bathroom but the legs can’t support it and it wobbles badly. That top is very heavy and I kept my bags under it afraid it would fall and hurt my dog. Good idea poor execution.Standing by the bed I glanced in the bathroom and could see the speckles of feces all along the rim of the toilet. It looked like the toilet had not been cleaned in weeks. So of course my thought is, what else did they miss/choose not to do. The compound was such a good idea. Some things hit the mark like quality construction, trails/falls on site (super steep and no mileage listed), location, privacy, effectiveness of AC.However, I would not stay again due to cleanliness, poor directions/lack of attention to being findable. Overpriced for what you get.
