Our first night we got in late from having dinner and 4 Palmento bugs were in our condo, we were able to kill them but I did not like that I saw them at all!!!! I am terrified of them so I was uncomfortable the entire week. Also, the dishwasher was replaced but still isn't working.

There is a card under there that stated "yes, we clean under here too" however we found food wrappers and other trash. The kitchen could use some updates. Part of the silverware drawer is missing and it almost fell out when opening it.The couch is comfortable but the recliner was not.Overall the place was nice and affordable for a family. We especially enjoyed the location and the pool area was great!

The elevator was not working on that end of the building causing inconvenience especially when checking in and out with luggage. The balcony did not feel safe, slopes down quite a bit. It was cold the weekend that we were there, but if it had been warm that would have been a big issue. It was clean, just old and really needs to be upgraded for the price.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beds are HORRIBLE. Couch is HORRIBLE. It needs a lot of updates. We contacted the rental agency and they were able to provide new pillows and blankets. They fixed a door knob and attempted to fix a sink drain however it just made the drain worse. Kitchen supplies are poor at best. Things were put in odd places couldn't find things until the second week. Not enough utensils or silverware. Couldn't use DVD player because the remote doesn't work even after I bought a battery. A/c had trouble keeping to temp. It was a hot week though. The place just felt dirty. There were dirty sheets in the top of the closet. There was a dirty pan in the cabinet. There were no large aluminum pans or baking sheets. The ice maker does not work. The screen door is broken. The only good thing I can say is that the price was better then others and the bunk bed and twin bed could accommodate 4 kids. Oh and also the pool was in terrible shape. The water was dirty. We have been at this place for years and never saw it look so bad. I didn't even want to get in. Not enough trash cans by the pool. Trash people piled up each day. Dumpters were over flowing.

The kitchen drawers were sticky and didn't have any knobs on. Poorly equipped with utensils. Dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. Sticky spot on floor by leather recliner (the little white table was over it). Couch was filthy and uncomfortable. Beds in first room were plain old awful and uncomfortable, not intended for adults to sleep on, plus there's no dresser in the bedroom (instead, it's in the "common" area), and their pillows had stains on them. Second bedroom is listed as a "queen" bed- it's a full size mattress. Broken/missing blinds. Bathrooms outdated and wallpaper peeling, entire condo needs a complete reno. Walls were even dirty and not cleaned. Hard to lock the door when leaving.We found a dead cockroach by the tv stand and a live one in the bedroom. Floors were obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. Poor internet connection. We found a guest book, and all of the previous complaints (some dating back from 2008!), were never addressed or fixed. It's 2016, now. Light on the balcony doesnt work, some of the lamps didn't have light bulbs. Sea Master is a great location and a great view (just not condo 401!).

The ocean view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful and there was more than enough room in the unit for the six of us. The kids enjoyed playing in the pool, which was well maintained. The kitchen cabinets and some of the furniture was a little worn (which is to be expected with so much use), but the décor and overall feel of the unit was bright, beachy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this unit and hope to stay here again in the future!

Fun on the beach in Garden City!

We were right on the beach and it had a great pool area. Very family friendly! Sea Master 401 was a bright, cheerful, spacious property. We liked the beach themed decor and the fact that the kids had their own seperate bedroom and bathroom. Close to the boardwalk, short drive to grocery store, restaurants, etc. Glad we stayed here instead of right in Myrtle Beach proper. Very fun time with the comforts of home, and at a reasonable rate! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me preface this by saying we are avid travelers and do beach trips 4-5 times a year, usually renting condos. The complex is in a good location and overall the building is in fine condition. The condo was clean and the view is fantastic. However the condo is in very poor physical condition. The icemaker doesn't work. There are broken kitchen drawers. The entire place desperately needs painted. The wallpaper in bathroom is peeling off the wall. The bed in the master is cheap and uncomfortable. All of the blinds are broken and do not properly operate. I knew I wasn't renting a room at the Westin, but I would think the owners would take pride in something they own and invest in it's condition. I would not stay here again.
