Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was just about perfect. Loved having carpet in the bedrooms and living room. Everything was great, with one small exception: the coffee table in the living room had very sharp edges that caught 3 of us in the shins a few times. Would definitely book this unit again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything described about this property is 100% accurate including the amenities like an awesome hot tub to wind down your beach day! Unit was spotless and we would recommend this property to anyone not concerned about being on top 15th floor. The view is amazing, but I would not be comfortable on that floor w/ small children or a service pet (pets are not allowed).We loved the ocean front balcony, easy beach access, walks at night on beach and an relaxing stroll to our favorite restaurant the Conch Cafe. What a great start to our trip eating there on the ocean facing deck our first night we were too tired to grocery shop. Just a short 1.5 mile drive and you can grab your groceries at Garden City Kroger we love too while you shop sipping your Starbucks and you are all set for an amazing week being barefoot as much as possible!!*You really don't ever need to leave, but if you crave some excitement we recommend Crazy Sister Marina for Dolphin cruise or Dolphin Jet Ski trip we have done for last three years.

It is not likely to happen often, but if someone rents 1510 and 1512 on VRBO for the same group you end up in the middle of a larger party that is going to roam unit-to-unit. The living room furniture is very comfortable. It probably is time to replace mattresses.

The condo had plenty of sitting space and had updated sinks in the bathroom and kitchen countertops. We had a loose bathroom faucet that we called maintenance to come and fix and they were out in no time to do the repair. We would recommend renting this condo again! The pools were clean as well as the sitting area and parking structure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our room was ready ahead of schedule,which was great. Our room had a combo lock so we could go directly to the room. The room was probably the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. I feel this was due to using Garden City Realty, who has their own cleaning service. The resort is so convenient...you can sit at the pool deck and still feel like you are on the beach. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas. I took 30 steps from the pool deck to my beach chair. The ocean washed over my feet at high tide! This is definitely one of the best vacations for the books. I will definitely use Garden City Realty again and stay at The Waters Edge!!

DO NOT BOOK THIS CONDO

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would not recommend this condo based on our experience. We booked for 9/29/22 to 10/3/22 and got the insurance because it was during hurricane season. We were to check in Thursday at 4pm but Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida Wednesday afternoon and was predicted to hit South Carolina Friday. A state of emergency was declared for SC but no evacuation so the insurance would not cover anything. I called Garden City Realty to see if there was anything the owners could do since there was no way we were going to arrive as a hurricane hit. They said they would check but they had been told no. I got an email Friday morning saying the office was closing at 11am because of the hurricane and no one would be available until Saturday so we had no way of knowing what the condition of the beach or the condo would was in but the flooding on the news looked bad and Pawley’s Island Pier 10 miles away was destroyed. The owners refused to do anything at all. I would not rent from them in the future, who knows what their response would be for any issues arising.

Only negitive thing I have to say is beds were not as comfy as we would have liked. I DO gave a recommendation for the property. Put safety netting on the balcony railings on floors that high for families with Littles. We brought our own so it wasn't a problem!

Great, but room to improve

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen was stocked with nice pots, pans, cutlery and silverware. The fridge was cold. However, guests are forbidden to turn AC below 70 degrees and I was warm. Also, the blinds in the bedrooms don’t block out light so my kid was awake for the day at 2:53am due to extremely bright porch lights (I had to buy tinfoil and tape to darken the bedrooms; blackout curtains over the blinds would be ideal. The sliding glass door is broken so it doesn’t block out noise from fireworks well and takes two people to lock the door closed. The dishwasher washes dishes but the bottom tray is broken so loading it is very difficult. We had no issues with the bathrooms. Condo was tastefully decorated. New carpet in the living room. Large closets. The swimming pool is in disrepair. Indoor hot tub is blocked with caution tape. I want to end on a good note for room 1511-the closet in hallway is my favorite thing! There is a hanging rack to dry freshly washed swimsuits and wet life jackets. There’s a bench for your beach bag, space for boogie boards (they had a few there already), and floor space for our sandy shoes. A broom and dustpan are on the wall so I could sweep up the sandy hallway each day. Overall great, with room for improvement. I wish I could post the pictures I have. We dined at Sarah J’s, had Painters Homemade ice cream (I recommend the peach), and played putt putt at Adventure Falls which should be completely renovated for summer 2023. Grocery stores and Walmart very close by.

Called and reported to maintenance before hours and requested call back. Instead someone showed up while I was out without a call and my guest had to call me to inquire about what was problem. Then said would have to contact owner about replacing. No further contact so I hand washed dishes. Beds not most comfortable and large amount of light comes through bedroom window blinds making it hard to sleep

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it went well, but there is room for improvement. First of all, you need to provide more wash cloths. I don't mind using a towel twice, but not a wash cloth. Extra hand towels would be nice too. I know the unit was 'cleaned' but might want to spot check. The drawers had crumbs/stuff in them as well. It wasn't enough to call about but I had to wipe the counter and cabinet door for obvious dirty spots. There were quite a few spider webs as well. The toilet in the bathroom on the left when you enter needs some attention. The running water sound is annoying. You could also use some darker shades to keep the light out of the bedrooms. Again, overall, it wasn't bad, wasn't great, but I would probably give it another try. The unit could also use some updating.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was not up to even a mediocre standard. The sofa was ripped and had filling visible, the drapes were torn loose at one end, and the closet door was unhinged/broken which made the closet unusable. ( I called & reported to maintenance and the closet was repaired.) These issues were obviously visible when we arrived and should have been addressed before guest arrival. The pools were visibly dirty. I will not return to Water’s Edge.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in many units in the Myrtle Beach area and have to say we were immediately very disappointed in this unit and would not stay again. The place is so outdated and in bad condition right down to the large mirror wall in the living room. Totally unacceptable. I would like to add Garden City Realty did what they could to try and make things better by bringing 2 new $5 chairs for the balcony. Good luck getting a hot shower.
