Great location, condo wasn't very clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Waters Edge many times over the years. This was one of the dirtiest condos we have been in. Upon arrival, we couldn't walk around barefoot without our feet turning black. Floors were filthy, bathrooms were not all that clean, and the bed sheets were suspect. The washer was broken. Maintenance came during our stay, but were not able to resolve so no washing machine. We did not pay to have beds made, but there were sheets on already, so we are very suspicious that we were on dirty sheets. Couch and sofa had covers that did not stay in place. Kitchen was well equipped, and you can't beat the location, amenities and view. We will be back, but not to this unit. Not worth the price we paid.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at waters edge for a week. The property was very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this property again. The condo for the most part was nice. There was some basics that needed to be fixed and/or cleaned. The dishwasher had mold in the silverware rack. Also, the master bathroom shower did not have the hottest water as the handle was not working properly. Other than these two things the condo was great.

Our feet were black after walking on them and one of the beds was full of sand - we did call housekeeping and they did send someone quickly to change the bed we had a toilet not flushing and a slow draining shower and maintenance was very nice n handled that quickly - all of our issues were handled quickly n professionally

Garden City 2024 - Waters Edge 312

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was very nice and I would recommend staying there. The only suggestion would be to maybe keep a cupboard empty in the kitchen for renters' food items. All the cupboards were filled with dishes and utensils. The location was perfect for us. The parking garage has a 6'9" clearance to get in, but it drops down to 6'3" on the ramp between the floors and our truck did not fit up the ramp. I had specifically called Garden City REalty regarding the clearance before our visit, and they had told us there would be no issues.

Although this was not originally booked unit it was accommodating and nicely decorated. Unit did have some small issues when we got there. We were told that the water heater was leaking. They sent a plumber and it was not the water heater. It was the air conditioning unit they were supposed to send somebody out to address this issue. Don’t know if anybody ever showed up as the unit was not properly cooling, but we may do. All together everyone had a great time and made the best use of the unit along with the pool and the beach. I would recommend if you were looking for a rental to use Garden City realty they are great.

This is the first time we stayed at this property and we will be back. Having both indoor and outdoor hot tubs and pools is nice for cooler days. This property could use some new non-stick pans. The washer didn't work, the maintenance staff was responsive and offered to pay for us to use a laundromat.

Washer and dryer did not work and couldnt get it fixed. We spent $25 out of pocket to wash clothes. No refund on that. I was not happy at all. Even the hot tub wasnt even hot. Couldnt use indoor or outdoor pool till friday.Very dissatifed in this years trip.

We have stayed at Waters Edge before in other units that were in much better condition.

The shower in master was full of mold even on shower head, the ceiling fan looked like it was never cleaned the sliding glass doors to the balcony were so dirty you could hardly see out them. the floors were so dirty our feet were black. nothing was dusted and the furniture on patio was broken. The rental company came and cleaned most of it. The refrigerator bottom shelf on door was broken

Fall Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were originally scheduled to stay at Ocean Cove 305. Apparently, that building suffered hurricane damage. I found out that unit was not available when I called a week before we departed. We were re-assigned to Sea Master 308. We picked up the keys to this unit about two minutes before Garden City Realty closed. When we arrived at this unit, we found out that this unit is not handicap accessible. My Mother is confined to a wheelchair. We stayed at the Ocean Cove 305 earlier and knew it was handicap accessible, so I didn't think to inquire if the Sea Master 308 was. I called the Garden City Realty maintenance service and the gentleman on call provided us with a place to stay for that evening. The next day, Garden City Realty sent us to Water's Edge 312. This unit was ocean front and had an excellent view. The unit had a few problems, which were addressed promptly. The unit was just slightly dirty, and I assume it had not been cleaned thoroughly after the previous use. The building has a centralized air conditioning system and it was down three days while we were there. We managed to stay comfortable by opening the doors. Overall, the unit was decent, as this was a scramble situation. Garden City Realty made every effort to help us enjoy our stay in Garden City and get this unit up to par. I would stay in this unit again. We enjoyed our visit, even though the community was cleaning up everywhere.
