“We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable with very nice linens. The room as a nice size and the bathroom was great with a fabulous shower. Excellent location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The free all day fresh made coffee in the lobby, including cappuccino and lattes, was a nice touch. The light breakfast was adequate. Would definitely stay again.”

Room 106 had a nightclub right underneath which very loud till 1:00 am and people partied right outside the windows making sleep impossible. Room desperately needs a dresser cabinet. Washroom sink counter has almost no space. Vanity lighting really needed.”

“Location great! Staff hospitable. Common areas and rooms clean. For little effort and investment, the rooms could sparkle. Although the room was clean, two window seals broken and windows fogged, scratches and discoloration in hardwood floor, perimeter tiles in bathroom dirty, door base warped from shower water. For the amount you pay, these should really be taken care of. All in all, good place.”

“Being the first time to visit Montreal, Hotel William Gray definitely impressed me, for both its location and staffs. It is located inside the old Montreal area, that means you are easily to enjoy the day and night scene of the area. You may choose any restaurant (in which there are a lot of restaurants to choose) you like and return to the hotel within 5 minutes walk. Besides, the hotel is just 10 minutes walk to the metro station, it is easy for tourists to sightsee around the city. For the……

The photos online did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. Due to the cleanliness concerns, we chose not to stay overnight. We requested a refund, but the owner was unwilling to accommodate our concerns. Overall, the property was not as advertised, and we would not recommend it based on our experience.”
