「Our favourite hotel in Merida and one of our favourites anywhere. Not a resort like hotel with large facilities, but a beautifully designed boutique hotel with a cool rooftop that includes a small pool dipping pool and a bar. Unfortunately this last time the bar area was under renovation and out of order, but the hotel made it up to us by comping us delicious breakfasts and one lunch by the dipping pool (for my wife). 「The accommodations were wonderful, as was the staff. They were some of the most gracious people that I've ever met. The owner wrote me a beautiful note welcoming me, and it was made even better with the sweet treats that she provided me from her bakery. I will always stay at the Tree House Hotel when in Mérida. The customer service rivals any of the big hotels. They even remembered that I liked bacon. Sounds insignificant but it meant a lot to me. Stay, you'll thank me later. 💕」
