「My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

「Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. Thanks for a great stay! 」

「What a beautiful place. Everything you need is provided in apartment. So near the center and all shops. Sat outside on balcony watching all the wildlife (Ducks,Heron etc). The hosts are so welcoming and contact is swift. highly recommended.」

「A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.」

「Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Could do with a proper electric one to be honest. Bathroom bin not emptied from previous occupier. No wifi and phone signal not great. Not always a...

「We stayed on December with snowy days, Magical. Wonderful site great help from the owners. Pod is a one off and all you expect. We took advantage of the fire and hot shower. Hot tub has a stunning view as well as beautiful surrounding areas. Great pubs and restaurants nearby well worth a few days for our honeymoon」

「Lovely cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings Steph and David are wonderful hosts , full of local knowledge , welcoming and so friendly - feel like we’ve known them forever . Their dog Tubs visited us regularly to check on us . It’s so peaceful there , waking to birdsong instead of traffic !! Would love to visit again .」
