"Nice hotel with beautiful views, I spent a lot of the time on the balcony! The cleaner was amazing as well, the room was cleaned daily. A few downsides to the property is that it is extremely basic internally and very outdated in the room- everything worked though so can’t complain. Also, the bathroom was always soaked due to the shower, it was not equipped to be a wet room and did not dry easily (there was no shower curtain). "I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Aelo. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us choose events to attend, beaches to visit, things to do, where to eat, how to get transportation.
Rooms were clean, came with iron, blow dryer, and private pool which we absolutely took advantage of!

Went at the beginning of April. Beaches were empty, weather fantastic, the town was lovely and quiet once the cruise passengers returned to their ship. Some great value restaurants outside of town like Philotimo, Paprika, Local Mykonos, Andreas Maria

It's now a haven for the youngsters to enjoy the many night spots throughout the night. How they can afford it in their thousands is beyond me with a bottle of beer starting at 8 Euro and a spirit or cocktail drowned with a lot of ice at 15 Euro!

Visiting in the off-season, Mykonos itself was quiet and deserted. I was shocked to see that next to nothing was open, maybe only 2-3 shops and 3-4 restaurants. Most museums, car rentals, restaurants, stores were all closed.

It is magical truly beautiful there is something for everyone. If you want to see the beauty of the island it is worth going low season otherwise go during party time but get ready for the crowds .

Beautiful place to visit. Very busy, yet you can find some quieter places to be in. I'd return again in a more off season time. New Port accommodates more tourists however, now you have to take transportation into town. Official taxis for best rate

This year we visited a week later than usual, and the island was STILL heaving with people! The ghastly cruise ships seemed to change daily but there was always at least one anchored close to the town, sometimes four! Many lovely restaurants though.

Mykonos is a beautiful island. Harder to get around so pick a location or two to hit but don't expect to travel all over the island unless you are comfortable driving on very narrow, windy and crowded streets or take local bus.

"I was at this hotel over 30 years ago and it was certainly beautiful back then and it is more beautiful now. The staff are super friendly, very helpful and the rooms are amazing. The breakfast buffet was always full and a lot of selections. I can’t say enough about their friendliness and I’m willingness to help at the airport. I left my laptop at the Security and only found out a couple hours later when I had left Mykonos. I called the hotel and they immediately called the airport security and located my laptop and called me back and let me know that it’s safe. This is way beyond a hotel would do so totally appreciate it and I would totally go back."
