Great view!!

It was clean & had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location was great - my friend and I walked almost everywhere we went. The kitchen supplies were a little lacking (could have used a couple pot holders and maybe salt & pepper), but I would definitely stay at the Patricia Grand again!

Served it's purpose

The room had a beautiful view and was fairly clean. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchen. The cons: the water pressure is non-existent. I've seen more pressure from an IV drip! Even though the property is "non smoking" all you smell is cigarettes and marijuana when sitting out there. Overall, the room served it's purpose while we were in town.

Loved the view. Staff friendly, pool and hot tubs were great. Bathroom was little small, hard to get in and out of tub with the way door was. The water pressure was very low. Room Next door was a utility room or something and heard a noise all night, sounded like vaccuum and kept us up. Will definitely go back but would not book this room again.

Check in/out

This process needs some work. Having everyone check in after 4 pm and out by 10am. All these rooms of people trying to get in and out at the same time is a nightmare. The room and amenities were great. I had no issues with any of that. But the lack of planning on a resort this size to make the check in and out process easier will stop me from ever staying here again

Disappointing!

The side of the refrigerator was dirty and there was food stuck on the silverware. The hot water took forever to make it to the shower, sinks and the pressure was terrible.

Room had bed bugs

So we stayed here at Patricia grand 1932 in myrtle beach. We found bed bugs in our room and we have video and picture proof of it. We showed the people at the front desk the pictures and videos and were told that wasn’t good enough proof. We have been moved several times. And they only want to give us a refund for one night. We also now don’t know if our luggage has been infected or not. They told us to leave everything in the room because they were going to spray for them and when we returned the next day nothing had been sprayed.

Overall the motel was great. The only problems we encountered was the wait for the elevator me and my family of 4 had to take the stairs quiet a few times due to the elevator being so busy they have 5 in total. Dragging a 5 year old and 10 year old up 19 flights of stairs wasn't a easy task .

We have stayed at this property several times and this was the worst room so far. The room looked clean but had a funky smell. On the first night these small flies appeared in the bathroom and eventually were everywhere. The faucet in the bathroom was loose and the water pressure was non existent. Like taking a shower with a spray bottle of water and the tub drained so slow you were standing in an inch of water by the time you were done. Beds were ok but not great. This property is going downhill quick. Needs some major work.

Great location! We were excited to find a hotel right on the beach for dog lovers. The small park next to the hotel was very convenient for walks. Our room had a great view and was clean and updated. We would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful view Scary housekeeping

The view is pretty the front desk staff is very nice the door to our room would not stay closed. The elevators have no air-conditioning and are not well-kept they are soaked from people leaving the pool and extremely humid almost unbearable. Upon arrival I had to thoroughly clean the room myself as it was filthy. The furniture is extremely outdated The picture they showed you is not the room that you will get. Our furniture was all scratched neck and dented our lights were rusted. There were dirty dishes left in our oven and cabinets inches of dust in the bathroom along with in the cabinets on top of the refrigerator. We had to move the refrigerator to find some thing my daughter lost and I was disgusted by the amount of dust dirt and other items seen underneath the fridge. You get one thin sheet and an even thinner comforter if you can call it that. Towels are not provided to you for the pool or for your room you need to get those daily from the front desk yourself nor do they provide you with extra garbage bags or any other amenities that you may need and we rented directly from VaCasa and not a timeshare or Airbnb! They failed to mention that the restaurant is not open on Sundays and also when it is open there is one staff member busing waiting tables along with being the bartender in a very busy restaurant expect to wait hours for your food. The lazy river that is pictured is not the one that is there as it is extremely small if I had to guess overall I would say it is about 20 feet and should not be classified As a lazy river it is indoor only and it is more of a wading pool for small children. There was caked on dirt in the corners of the bathroom along with solidified urine that had not been clean and the floor was so filthy that your feet were black if you ever walked on it without shoes. Absolutely will not stay at this establishment again especially considering numerous guests we talk to you we’re having the same sort of experiences

2021 beach vacay at the Patricia Grand, Myrtle Beach SC

This was our first time staying at the Patricia Grand and we loved it. We brought our pet with us and there was a nice place to take pets to go potty. The staff were very friendly and helpful... we had a great breakfast. Everything was close to the hotel. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great week at the beach😊
