Myrtle golf trip

Very nice condo. Centrally located. Had a slight issue that was resolved quickly. All in all a very good experience.

Stay with caution or not

I was unable to stay in this unit due to being misrepresented in description. Unit had strong (smoke) odor even in bedding. Vacasa was aware of my concerns within 15 minutes of checking in but it took them 2 of my 3 night rental to have local team to respond with odor in their opinion was not smoke but due to Being Old. That being said Vacasa misrepresented the unit as they don’t list unit as old and having a odor due to its age. Their answer of my concern of kitchen countertops being clean was they were clean. Note I told Vacasa I was concerned about cleanliness because I had wiped counters and towel had black residue so of course local team found clean counters. I had cleaned them when I checked in! In defense of property this building is not in phase one so it’s newer than other properties I previously stayed in without an odor. I stand by original unit was smoked filled and not as clean as stated on listing. I will be smarter when booking and stay away from Vacasa as property manager. So with caution if you book this property you know if there is a problem you may not have an enjoyable stay!
