The location is amazing: minutes from the convention center and Broadway at the Beach. Beach access is awesome. Room itself: dirty and found a roach one night. The beds are comfy and clean. Parking garage: horrible! Narrow passage ways in going up and down between levels. Bad design. Witness at least 2 cars scraped the sides as they were turning and going up the ramps. Bad design on the ramps.

Overall it was good. This unit needs some upgrades. The bottom of the closet door frames were rusted. The lamps had rust on them. The room was not very clean when we checked in but the front desk had someone come in the next morning to reclean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I like the Starbucks bar in the lobby. The restaurant has a very good breakfast. Great view from this room. Just needs updating and a thorough cleaning.

The employees were very nice and professional however my room was not clean when I arrived food the refrigerator toothpaste in the sink small prices food on the floor my question is do have room checks before people check because Covid is still around in the dining area the staff was very pleasant and professional so except for my room not being clean the experience was great

Where do I start. I booked a “ocean front” , not dog friendly room. I did not read the reviews beforehand. I called Vacasa and explained my concern about the ocean front vs ocean view. The girl I spoke to was really nice, changed my reservation and assured me this was an “ocean front” room. Now this trip was for my wife’s birthday. I wanted everything perfect. We got there, asked twice at check in if this was indeed an oceanfront room. We were assured it was. My idea of oceanfront is being able to see the sun rise and a view up and down the beach. That wasn’t what we got. We saw the beach at an angle and never saw a sunrise. So disappointed. They told us this was a “gulf view”. WTH. I have that in a text We walked into our room and the smell of dog was overwhelming. I have dogs, I love dogs but I left mine with a trusted family member. We dropped our stuff and went straight to the store for A LOT of air freshener and Febreeze. Every time we walked in the room we had to spray the crap out of it. And every corner of the room had piles of dog hair. One morning we were waiting on an elevator. When the doors opened, 2 big piles of dog poop were waiting for us. We waited for the next elevator. We had a great time at the beach but dreaded going back to the room every time. I will do better research next time. This place was not worth the money

Nothing.. Got in the room ac unit was not working. Bathroom door was half broke. If you closed it completely you could get out. Kitchen sink was stopped up. Room did not look like the pics for review.. closet door at bottom was rusted up. The balcony was dirty had cheese balls on the ground.. The lamps and lamps sheds was dirty and rusty. The night stand had black and brown spills going down the side of it. 1st and last time staying there.

I loved everything about the place especially the fact it was dog friendly so no family member was left behind. The staff was friendly and the location is AMAZING everything was right there ! The only Thing I didn’t like was the laundry set up. There is a washer and dryer outside on a few floors which is not suitable to me but other then that everything was great

Few steps to the beach, Kids loved all pools. Hair dryer was not working and it was not replaced in-spite of complaining to front desk. No house keeping done during 2 night stay.

The hotel is EXTREMELY antiquated. It felt like I had stepped into a time warp. It didn’t FEEL clean or secure for the amount of money I paid for the room. My patio door did not close all the way and COULD NOT lock. There was nothing GRAND about the Patricia Grand hotel at all. I felt like I was in a cheap motel. The staff was really nice, but couldn’t offer much assistance with the REAL issues. There were no comforters on the bed, only sheets. There was no staff to bring the requested comforters, I had to get them myself. There’s a restaurant on the 2nd floor, but it feels more like a cafeteria and they don’t deliver to your room and you can’t call in an order. You have to physically GO there. Also, only ONE of the beverage machines was operational. So if you get hungry or thirsty after 10, you have to wait until the next day. I’m so GLAD that this was a girl’s trip and not a family trip! I would NOT stay here with my family! Overall, my concern is that you DON’T get what you pay for. There is no early check in or late check out. Even though customers are FLYING in to stay there. There is NO real LOBBY area to wait in while you wait until 4:00 to check in, just a dated and worn out chair and ottoman. I’d suggest that you PAY the extra dollars and RUN down the street to the Hilton!
