A Beach Retreat Down-Hot tub, pet-friendly, 2 blocks to beach

Message me for off-season specials! A Beach Retreat Down is a private, 3 bdrm, 2 bath Myrtle Beach vacation rental located just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk with free parking! Will comfortably sleep 6-8 guests. This recently renovated house, which is the downstairs section of a duplex, offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms that will comfortably accommodate 8 guests (1 king, 1 queen, 1 full size beds and queen sofa bed). Additional features include fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, grill, and washer and dryer and hot tub! Excessive sand or rocks in hot tub will result in $100 cleaning fee. This pet-friendly house (fee applies. Failure to disclose you are bringing a pet/s will result in a flat $200 fee regardless of trip length) offers TVs in every room! No smoking! Cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for smoking in the house.

IMPORTANT: We highly recommend trip insurance as we do not provide refunds outside of our cancellation policy. Weather issues or concerns do not qualify for a refund. Trip insurance is very affordable and will typically cost less than 10% of your trip cost.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. A couple of blocks from the beach so it was easily walkable. Close to activities and restaurants and was comfortable for our little dog. The hot tub is a great addition.

Very Nice place stay

Great place!! Definitely one of my favorites. Only 2 blocks from the ocean. It was VERY clean and spacious. Beds are really comfortable. Hot tub area very nice and relaxing. Would definitely stay again at the property.

Perfect location

My group was down for a softball tournament. The house was close to everyhing, the field we played at, airport, downtown and right off the beach. Its small but felt spacious and plenty of room for our group. Hottub was very clean and very much appreciated. Thank you. Would stay here agian!

Great vacation spot

House was great clean, had hot tub, plenty of room, short walk to beach, short walk to stores and restaurants, over a wonderful time. We were allowed to bring our dogs the only thing bad I can say is the yard had a lot of sand spurs so my dogs had a rough time. But other than that is was great.

Convenient and cozy Myrtle Beach

We enjoyed our short stay at A Beach Retreat. It was a quick, 2-block walk to the beach/boardwalk. Excellent for travelling with pets. (Although beware of the sanspurs in the yard, stay on the sidewalk) We had the bottom unit which was very convenient for my elderly parents to access and the entry is covered which is convenient for the occasional pop up shower. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Convention Trip

We chose this rental because of its convenient location to the convention center (about a 5 minute drive). It was perfect for our needs. Also a close 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Nicely stocked kitchen. TV’s in living room and every bedroom. Our only suggestion would be to add some mirrors in the bedrooms. The only 2 mirrors were in the bathrooms which meant no one else could get ready if someone else was showering.

Perfect place

Thanks for letting us check in early. It really helped! House is a 5min walk to the beach. No need to hassle with parking. House is well laid out and kitchen is adequate for 6 adults. If you need extra pillows or blankets I would bring them. Host is super responsive....WE LOVE THE HOT TUB! Restaurants and mini golf are within walking distance. We even did an Escape room. Would book this property in a heart beat. We even had 2 dogs, no problem.

Ok

We expected bunk beds but there was none. One trash bag for eight people for four days. One roll of toilet paper and paper towel which wasn’t noted until the welcome email. During our stay the grass was cut and the entrance to the door was sprayed with insecticide. Would have expected these types of things to be done when guests aren’t present. Front door alignment was off so a lot of pushing and pulling was needed to use it. Besides that stay was nice. Great area. Short 2 block walk to beach. Easy access to literally anything you need. (Shops, food, etc.) Was very clean upon arrival as well. Wouldn’t stay again just because doesn’t fit our need for our family. Would be better for smaller families.
