Outdated

The online photos make this place look a lot nicer than it is. It is outdated and in need of repair. It also lacked pantry space as well as kitchen necessities. The property manager was very good at addressing our concerns and needs. He even came out himself to meet with us. We did have a good stay, and enjoyed our time at the resort, despite being a bit disappointed with the condo condition itself.

Great room, great place, great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had an amazing time at the Myrtle beach resort and in room a420. The compound remained in a clean state and had many places to help keep it clean by throwing out our trash. We loved the view from the room and spent many hours on the balcony listening to the ocean. Plenty of items were left for us to have fun with including boogie boards. The resort itself had many things to do other than the beach, there was a pool with snack shack right next to the beach entrance where we would cool off after coming back from hours at the beach. We also had the option for a lazy river and fun sprinkler for the kids. The management team provided everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay and have fun, they were even quick to respond to any questions I had about getting into the room. Overall a great stay, we have found our new spot for family vacations!!

Reviewer Comments: It was ok we didn’t have hot water it would get like warm for 2 mins then turned call witch was hard with 5 people the lock on out door was nessed up it also looked like it was kicked in you could see damage vents were rusted sink sponge was used and left for us. It was convenient because it was on the beach but the room overall was not what I expected. It said no pets allowed but I bnoticed several people with small dogs in the. Lido g I was in and a lot of stray cats

Me and my little family stayed here for 7 days. We loved it. The condo felt like home. Everything was on the property the beach is just a few steps. Stores and shops were all a small drive from there. Everything was quick and easy to deal with. Kitchen was super clean and so was the rest of the condo.

Close to beach

The property had many amenities which was nice for kids. If we couldn’t have a beach day there were many pools to choose from or other activities. The place had everything we needed. Laundry was right down the hall which was very convenient. Because of the large property the beach was very crowded so you have to go early or real late. The place could use some area rugs to help dampen the noise in such a small condo but overall we had a good time.

Amazing condo with an amazing view

I took my 2 kids on vacation as a single mother and the ease of checking into the property was great. The condo was super cute and had everything you need. It also had beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys etc that you can use which I thought was awesome. The view was amazing!! I liked it only had 5 floors so you didn’t have to wait for the elevator long at all. You had several options of pools, outdoor activities, and the beach access was close by. The condo was near places to shop as well and to do other things. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Carpet dirty, electrical outlet issues, 1 roll of toilet paprt for 2 bathrooms, stove dirty under burners, furniture dirty and needs major updating. Also replace wallpaper peeling off the walls.

Myrtle Beach Resort vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience was excellent, the condo was very clean and felt welcoming. The proximity to the beach, and all the family friendly pools were excellent. We only had one issue, with construction on the sundeck above our condo, which was extremely loud and disruptive, but one phone call to Patrick Walsh and he put a stop to it. He was very courteous and apologized, and I appreciated that very much. We look forward to staying again next year.

I wouldn’t recommend the condo.

I wouldn’t really recommend this property. The resort was fine, but the unit definitely needs major upgrading. The sink in the kitchen was leaking and because of a thunderstorm we found out that the roof was leaking as well. Came back from a walk to a puddle in the middle of the hallway. There was also a funky smell throughout the condo. The furniture in the living room was nice and the view from the balcony beautiful, but everything else was below average.

Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a great location, color scheme is nice, wall decor is nice. Condo needs lots of updates such as wallpaper peeling off, needs real crown molding, floors should be all hardwood, tile, etc., carpet holds to many germs. I had to call to complain because housekeeping didn’t do a very good job, hallway had sand in it, carpet wasn’t vacuumed very good. Master bedroom needs updated, bedspreads need updated. I guess when I go stay by the beach I like the condo to have the same feel.

Bed bugs and Fireworks

While it was nice to be almost directly at the beach and the pools were very nice especially the small "waterpark" with lazy river, there were several problems. 1. Bed Bugs. One bedroom had them. We did not figure it out until they had bitten my special needs son up and down both arms and on his side. I reached out to the management company by email and phone and had yet to be contacted back by them. I am hoping we did not bring anything back with us. 2. One elevator was constantly out of service. 3. Fireworks from the RV campgrounds on both sides all times of the night, sometimes as late as 1:30 am

Sadly disappointed...

Reviewer Comments: While the complex was rather nice itself, loved the oceanfront pool and strong security & the balcony, this particular condo was very dirty upon arrival. The floors were filthy. There was dirt and grit all over them in every room. While sweeping with the very old and useless broom and vacuum, in an attempt to make it livable, we found half eaten crackers under an end table, as well as, an apricot with MOLD growing on it under the couch? It IS CLEAR that staff is NOT even adequately doing their job cleaning, let alone make it spotless and germ free?! Dust visibly caked the dining ceiling fan as well as all the curtain toppers on every window. It was gross to say the least. We did not call anyone bcuz it’s expected that it would be clean to begin with?? I should not have to do so and will not be staying here ever again:(. Not to mention that only 2 of 3 elevators worked and according to a condo owner we spoke with in one of said elevators, the 2 that were operating, were extremely slow and usually run more efficiently?! The recliner was filthy as well stained with who knows what and outdated as were most of the decor and appliances.

Myrtle Beach Resort A420 condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed many different times at the resort in various condos in the different buildings. This rental had a decent view and was well furnished however the unit needs a major cleaning.The sliding glass door were streaked with a white fog. Walking through the unit in the evening made the bottoms of our white socks completely black. Needless to say after this discovery we did not walk anywhere in our bare feet. Also after picking up several dead roaches we didn’t get a good feeling when turning off the lights to sleep.

Vacation

As soon as we walked in the condo we noticed how dirty the floors were. There was part of a chocolate cookie on the living room floor along with other crumbs. We had to vacuum ourselves. There was sand on the furniture and table in the living room. The sprayer at the kitchen sink was broken. The toilet seat in the guest bathroom was so loose it was about to fall off. The toaster was covered in crumbs. The cleaning service is definitely lacking in their work ethic. I know you are at the beach and some sand is to be expected. But at least vacuum and wipe down the furniture. The wallpaper is peeling, and there are lots of things that need to be updated. The property manager did respond quickly when we called to report the state of the condo. He came over and fixed the toilet seat for us. The view from the balcony was nice. And the resort is in a great area. Enjoyed the beach and the pools. However, would not stay in this particular unit again.
