Looking at the pictures online the hotel looks like a 5 star, clean hotel with great amenities but when you arrive it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned ever plus the toilet didn’t flush unless you add water to the tank, they had a kitchenette yet not one single utensil, pot, cup unless you pay $35 to use them. As for the stove one out of four burners worked.

This place is under a complete renovation and no where on the site when booking does it state that. The photos of the place are all stock photos and this place looks nothing like them. Construction crews everywhere, elevators sounded like they were going to crash down to the ground. We switched rooms bc the first had no view, there was a random kid shoe we found. The second room was a disaster. Mold in the bathrooms, broken pieces on all furniture. 3 tvs and only 2 remotes. Phone didnt work to call the front desk. Holes in the wall. Thin bedding, pratically a sheet only. The toilets barley flush. Booking site listed a heated pool NONE are heated, the hot tub doesnt work, not hot at all. This place shouldnt have guests at all.

Rooms are terrible. Staff was helpful because they know how terrible the rooms we viewed five rooms before picking one looks better online. Will definitely not book again.

The front desk clerk/manager (whichever title the male represents) has the worst customers service I've endured ever in life. My husband and I were traveling back to Georgia when my husband realized that he didnt have his wallet. My husband knew the last place he possessed his wallet was at Pallette Hotel, in the bedroom, on the night stand. My husband called back to the Hotel to inform the front desk male staff that he left the wallet in the room and was sure that the wallet had fallen in between the night stand and bed. The front desk male stated he would have staff go check the room and give us a call back. It took my husband and I several times to contact the front desk hotel for an update. The front desk male was ignoring our calls because he did not want to take the time to honor our request of going to the room we stayed in to verify the wallet was there, as we knew it was. We eventually called from a different number, the front desk male answers, knew exactly who my husband was and stated "Shawn Moon, we sent staff back to the room and we didn't find your wallet". This answer did not sit well with my husband and I. We asked a family friend, who was also on vacation in Myrtle Beach, to go by the hotel and request to check the room. When our family friend arrive, the front desk male was still there, giving her the same answer. Even saying the room was occupied. Another employee heard our request, went to the room, found the wallet exactly where we told her it would be.

we had an oceanfront room at first with two bedrooms and a pull out couch with a kitchen. when we got in our room nothing was hooked up and the fridge and oven were pulled out and the floor underneath where they sit was disgusting. Smelt like cockroach/ bug spray killer and the floors were slick with a greasy film over them. we saw baby roaches in the sink when we arrived and then several big adult roaches later on at night while we were trying to eat dinner. we got refunded and moved to a smaller non ocean front room. we were told it was a bigger room when we were moved but they informed us that it wasn’t oceanfront so that was expected, however the size of the new room was not. i’m just happy i got a full refund for the room and the staff was nice.

Worst Hotel Experience – Unsafe, and nasty

The conditions were unacceptable and far below reasonable standards of cleanliness and safety. Upon arrival, I discovered bugs in the room, rusted bathroom fixtures, broken furniture, and unsafe equipment with exposed wiring. The air smelled strongly of mold, and nothing about the room felt sanitary or secure. These issues made the stay intolerable and completely ruined what was meant to be a relaxing vacation. This experience not only caused discomfort but also raised serious health and safety concerns. No guest should be subjected to such conditions, and I believe the property is being misrepresented as suitable accommodations.

Spacious room! Loved the private balcony! Attentive staff. The gnats were a bit intrusive however and kitchen pots, pans and plates had to be requested from the desk. Cooking utensils provided included plastic cutlery.
