The room was disgusting. Old looking and not at all what we saw in the photos. We were put into a smoking room even though we reserved a non smoking room and it smelled like cigarettes all night. Big hole in the storm window which looked like a bullet hole. Bath sink water hoses were connected backward, so hot was on wrong side. Area around the building was very trashy and littered. Description did not match the truth. Bathrobes? Ha. Not so. Breakfast was very skimpy and all bread and carbs.

Inside was way more kept than outside. Comfortable and clean inside and the staff was kind friendly and helpful. Great location for dropping kids at Coastal Csrolina University. I’d stay here again. Very convenient.

Not too bad for the price

Nice staff, cozy beds. Lots of things broken like ice maker, lights. It’s low budget for sure.

This is an Econolodge… both names are on the sign, clean enough, nothing fancy, just expected more than a mini fridge and microwave for an efficiency.

I liked the convenience of restaurants within walking distance. The facility was relatively clean with no bugs. Breakfast was ok most mornings. The rooms and facilities look like they’re been repaired multiple times. I could not get the coffee maker to work in the room.

You get what you pay for. The hard floors ("yay" no carpeting) were filthy!! I doubt they have ever been cleaned/washed, ever. The bathrub fixtures were all but coming out of the wall, but still worked. Low water pressure, but water is hot. 3 of the 6 lightbulbs in various fixtures were burnt out. Convenient having a kitchenette in the room, but zero plates, flatware, or cooking utensils - just plastic cups.

My reservations could not be honored, because no room was available. Also, the motel could not be easily identified, because the reservations were for Suburban Studios at the University, and the name on the hotel was Comfort Innn, with no visible address.
