Fun time at the beach, but the property needs some attention
We couldn’t check in at first because the reservation had not been made with OceanLakes. I had to contact the property manager who had a hard time calling in to update the reservation. So only about 40 min extra for check in. We arrived at the house with 5 dead roaches in the floor, and pieces of the ceiling on the floor. We didn’t have sheets/towels that I had ordered so again had to contact the property manager to have those delivered. Several of the pillows had blood stain spots on them, several of the mattress protectors were stained. Food on the dishes in the cabinets.
We had to leave early d/t the hurricane. I contacted the property manager to let her know we were leaving early and that we would place the golf cart charger on the cart but didn’t know what else we needed to do. I never received a reply.
Great location in a great family oriented campground though so just some general maintenance and cleaning, it could be a great spot.
