The room was small but adequate, clean. The worst part was the access road off Ring road 1 - was supposed to take 10 minutes but it was in such bad shape we had to go really slow or risk damaging the car, took us about 25 minutes

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Die Lage mittenwo im nirgendwo hat uns total gut gefallen. Der kleine, nahegelegene Bachlauf lud zum Füße abkühlen ein. Das Zimmer war klein aber fein und der Blick war super. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war gut ausgestattet und es gab Kaffee, Tee und Müsli umsonst.

The room was nice, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not available, you must bring everything you need. The place is quite remote. During the winter, it’s probably a wonderful place for the Northern Lights. We were there during the summer. The location is off a very rough, gravel road which we didn’t learn until the day before check-in.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön auf dem Land und ist sehr modern. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Es gibt zwei Selbstversorger Küchen, mit guter Ausstattung. Es ist wichtig alles für sich mitzubringen, denn es gibt in der Umgebung gar nichts. Gerne wieder.

The place was very clean. The two kitchens were well stocked with cereals, plates, bowls, spoons and forks etc. As such there were no staff at he location. Just key in the door to check-in and leave the key in the door when check-out.

While the guesthouse was clean and well maintained, it was pretty isolated without any amenities (food, coffee). We were told of this in advance which was appreciated. However, on our way back to the highway, we stopped at the sister property as coffee was advertised. The cafe was closed but the owner asked us what we wanted. He provided us a cup of coffee from his kitchen and then charged us for it… $14.00 for 2 small cups of coffee that was not good! I felt taken advantage of seeing as how we just spent a lot of money to stay in a guesthouse without any amenities an no breakfast/food options out in the middle of no where. Some hospitality would have been appreciated and very easy to extend.

Le logement est pas à l endroit indiqué car c est celui de la réception. L hébergement est 10km plus loin sur une route non pavée. Arrivée la bas, le logement était super. La vue au top. J aurais aimé avoir plus d information sur la cuisine commune comme ça j aurai préparé en fonction et c était une très bonne surprise. Juste le goutte à goutte de la pluie sur le bois de la terrasse qui m a réveillé. Le reste était top

Stayed in one of the modern cabins facing towards the river. Geese were running around with their little ones, it was quiet and beautiful. We were looking for the remote experience and that's what we got. Be ready to drive on gravel road away from the main junction. Staff was helpful in pointing us to the actual lodging on the map. Two fully stocked shared kitchen was useful in our trip and we enjoyed our stay! Our actual door was broken and a shower curtain should be installed.

The address listed on the booking website is incorrect. The guesthouse is actually located on Road 864, which is a rough, bumpy gravel road. In addition, the correct location is not accurately shown on Google Maps. As a result, we had a very difficult time finding the property and spent a long time driving off Route 1 onto Road 864 before finally locating it. The property should update its address and map location to help future guests avoid the same inconvenience.
