Reunion with an old Navy buddy

Cottage was very nice with plenty of room to house our families. Easy for my mother in law to take elevator to and from floors. We appreciated that it had a well stocked kitchen and we could cook while we were there. Would definitely stay again in the future.

This was our first ever beach stay and it was better than we ever expected. Waking up to the sunrise, the sound of waves crashing on shore and the wildlife we encounter was truly amazing. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in all of my years of renting beach houses. We had a few minor maintenance issues, which were taken care of very quickly. The property was clean and the location was fantastic. Great sunrises and sunsets from both sides of the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Kids were able to go to the beach anytime they wanted. We had some very minor issues but the service team was super prompt and friendly. Unfortunately we had a tropical storm come in for a couple of days but we were able to keep ourselves entertained and cooked a lot of great food. Overall perfect for a week long break.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great however the furniture needs to be updated and the house needs to be cleaned better. The hot tub needs to go outside so that the sunroom can be used. It smells like a hotel pool and the odor is too strong to stay in the room. All the furniture is outdated and in somewhat poor condition but the location is great. You need to add a hose downstairs for cleaning off chairs and feet. There needs to be a better way to clean your feet off when coming off the beach.

Perfect for a large group

We booked this house for our last family vacation because of the elevator. It is small, but it did the job. We weren't able to get them to the beach via the deck/stairs. We had to go to the public beach access, but that's fine because it's only a few houses down. The house was huge! The views were great and centrally located to everything you may want do in the Outerbanks. The only issue was when we asked for an extended check out time, the door code reset and we had to climb through one of the windows to get inside to collect our belongings. I wish we could have stayed was nice to pretend like things were normal for a while.

As for the house, our hot tub was unusable for a few days as it was dirty and we called to have it cleaned. When there to clean it it was determined that it needed a new part. He did come back and fix it but again it was mid week before we could get in it. The carpets had multiple stains. The top floor has no closet??? And they toilet up there doesn’t flush very well. And the house it’s self definitely needs some updates!

Early spring in the OBX

Seven of us shared 6 days on the Outer Banks at Fly Boys, a large beachfront home which could easily accommodate a larger group. The house was clean, neat and supplied for almost all needs. Arriving a hour before earliest normal check in, we called the manager and, after a quick check to assure all was ready, we were given access to the home. LOTS of deck space on different levels as well as outdoor spaces, all nicely appointed. Very comfortable home with just enough diversionary items (games. books, television, Bluetooth sound system, etc., to occupy all of us (21-75) on cooler or rainy days. Would recommend this home and the managers to anyone.
