"Amazing, regardless of price one of the best places I've stayed in Japan. 15 mins walk from Saga station in a quiet residential area and only 10 mins walk to multiple restaurants, Saga castle, balloon museum, library etc Hotel is the wrong word for this place,it is a stand alone home, perfect for a couple but extra space and futons for kids or another couple in comfort. ONE STATION HOTEL KUMAMOTO

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is located right next to the train station. Staff was very nice and professional. Excellent buffet breakfast. The only problem was only one key (an actual room key, not keycard) was provided for three people sharing a room. Although we just had an overnight stay, we liked the hotel and convenient location so we would stay there again."

"Short 10mins taxi ride from Kumamoto Train station, costs around 10USD for the taxi ride. Within walking distance to Kumamoto Castle, if walking is not your thing, you can take a taxi to the entrance of Josaien, which will lead you to the entrance of Kumamoto Castle as well. The taxi ride was around 5mins, and cost less than 6USD. It is also a short 10mins walk to Tsuruya Departmental Store, and plenty of cute shops in the nearby shopping arcade as well. Great location. "

"カーテンは引かれていたが西陽が当たる部屋のためとても暑かった。部屋にエアコンがあればクーラーをガンガンに効かせたい気分だったが上から送り込まれる空調のため温かい風が来て困った。ほんの少しだけ開く窓を開け半袖で寝たが布団を掛けると暑かった。"
