"Terrible the first night we were given a hut which was very poorly equipped. Avoid Purple Rain which was aptly named as the combined tiny room with toilet and shower wash basin not compartmentalised was leaking water which flowed into the other room a bedroom. "Elephant Bedroom is a luxury tented camp that provides great individual service for its guests. We had a wonderful guide on our game drives who was sensitive to our wishes as photographers. The only drawback is that electricity is only available in the camp at certain times of the day which means that battery charging has to be carefully planned and it is important to bring spares if you are a heavy user."

"Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. "Nice hotel. We only stayed one night so I can't judge local game and wildlife activities. Our room was really good and we had a very nice meal by an open fire in the restaurant. Very cosy. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Nice gardens. One thing to note is that the power is provided by a generator so it's not always on. Probably not a problem if you're out all day. "This property is nothing like the description or photos on Expedia. When challenged at check in the properties management stated that the descriptions were those of Expedia not of their own!! This is a One Star property charging Four Star prices probably due to local demand! The rooms smelt musty and were not attractive at all. There was no separate seating area or dining area in the rooms as described. This is not a property that I would recommend to an international tourist. We turned around and walked straight out! I would rather have driven back to Nairobi than stay there."
