This fantastic two-bedroom, one full-bath, newly renovated cottage is located in the exclusive and highly sought after Point Judith and it is now available to book for this summer!

It is perfectly situated within a short driving distance to many of the most beautiful beaches Rhode Island has to offer: Narragansett, Scarborough, as well as Roger Wheeler (Sand Hill Cove). The surrounding area offers a selection of activities and amenities for every guest (The Seawall, Beaches, Point Judith Lighthouse, Galilee, Shops, Restaurants, etc.) This home has it all, it floods with natural sunlight, boasts a gorgeous high-end kitchen, a beautifully manicured backyard, brand new full-sized front-loading washer & dryer and of course, central air!

Step into this lovely cottage and be greeted by the living room that is open to the fabulous backyard deck and the newly renovated modern style kitchen. The gorgeous kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, under cabinet lighting and a table that easily seats two to four. The kitchen is open to the bright and light family room with a large flat screen TV and a French door that leads to the deck. There is a full bathroom off the kitchen with a frameless glass shower door and custom floor to ceiling tile.

The front bedroom has a bunk style bed with a full size on the bottom and a twin size up top, TV and an armoire. This room is great for teenagers and young children, but also can accommodate an adult! The master bedroom has a full-size bed, ceiling fan, dresser, closet and night stands. The living room has a double sleep sofa. This Cottage sleeps 7

Additionally, there is a small room upon entry where the washer & dryer are located, this area is tastefully tiled, clean and bright.

The exterior of the home has a spacious deck with a gas grill and outdoor furniture that seats four. The beautifully landscaped yard provides a well-manicured lawn and a great area for yard games where you can enjoy those warm summer nights with family and friends. Can’t forget the outdoor shower that has hot and cold running water!

Very happy with our vacation. The property was the perfect size for a family of four and was extremely clean and well designed. The house is on the main road but is landscaped perfectly to provide for privacy and peace & quiet. The house has an outdoor shower to get beach sand off and an amazing indoor shower with great water pressure. The multiple shops and restaurants next door within walking distance are perfect for convenience. There are multiple beaches within a 2-3 minute drive from the house. The owners / property managers were helpfully, generous, and very responsive. We will definitely book again next year if it’s still available. Thanks again!

Annual 4th of July New England trip

My son and i have shared this tradition of spending the week of the 4th up in New England. We usually are up in Westport, MA. This year we did Narragansett. And let me tell you.... first Lynn is a magical human! Her interaction with is and immediate response was abive and beyond any expectation you can have for a human and property manager. The house was just as listed. Super clean, beautiful and just what we needed. Perdect for a small group or just you and your kiddo! Great location, you can see the ocean on a clear day just 2 blocks away. Easy to get all beaches and the ferry to Block Island. It was an amazing stay! If you asked my 9 year old he would say the shower is the best feature of the house..lol! But truly the hospitality and experience of the Captains Cottage I was memorable and we cannot wait to come back!. Its a home away from home!

Sweet little cabin, excellently appointed.

We were a little concerned being right on a main drag. Once inside, the Cabin was well isolated from any and all noise. Convenient location to everything. Such a sweet place we will re-book here. Restaurant next door had quality food. The art work, the furnishing the cleanliness. Outstanding stay!

<5 minute drive to Scarborough Beach North. This beach has the classic RI waves. If you want calmer waters head <5 minutes the other way to Roger Wheeler Beach. You will need to bring a garbage bag as it’s carry in & carry home.

Great Vacation Cottage

From the moment we stepped into the cottage, we found everything we needed and settled in easily. The house was impeccably clean as we could still smell remnants of cleaning products. It was well appointed with the finest decor, furnishings, linens, and kitchen supplies. Truly a beautiful cottage with stunning gardens. When we needed something, Jeffrey, the manager from next door greeted us and made himself available to meeting our needs. He even graced us with delicious doughboys and clam chowder! Two reserved parking spaces lent us easy access to and from all the nearby beaches. We will surely visit again! Thank you Jeffrey, Lynn, and David!

Great beach cottage

Clean, modern, cozy beach cottage in a great location. Loved being next door to Iggy’s and down the street from a great Ice cream shop. Really helped having designated parking because it can get busy, but noise was never an issue. All in all, a great stay!

My sister stayed here instead of myself (because of unexpected surgery) and she really enjoyed the place. Said it was small but comfortable and had all the amenities! Amazing Cottage

The Captain's Cottage is an beautiful Vacation home. Well appointed and extremely clean. having an outdoor and indoor shower was a huge benefit with the family. There was nothing missing from our stay. Walking distance to several beaches, 30 min walk to the ferry. great food right next door. Absolutely will recommend to all!

perfect location for a romatic getaway

All the comforts of home, bedding was comfy, plenty of towels + beach towels. Close to beaches and interesting shoreline exploration, sunsets, Providence, Wakefield, Naragannset. We were lucky enough to take in the 1st Firewater celebration on the riverfront in Providence since 2019! It was joyful and spectactular. We absolutely loved the cottage comforts and A/C, as well as a generous gift basket on arrival! The location was perfect!

Perfect Narragansett Cottage Stay

Everything about this cottage is perfect. From the location to the beaches and walk to the local restaurants, to the modern updated coastal decor and use of space. And most importantly the place upon arrival was spotless. Upon entering, all you could smell was a refreshing clean scent. I am a fanatic when it comes to cleaning. I can truly say that after my inspection, not one thing was out of place. This is the only house I have ever stayed at where I did not also clean after arriving. And the welcome basket was incredible. Don't want to tell you what you will get, but as a native RIer who now lives in the midwest, I LOVED IT. We will be back next year.

first class vacation house

Very comfortable, like new, has almost everything you will need.....we asked for napkins and placemats and a few other things and someone always showed up in minutes to provide what we needed. The take out restaurant nearby did not impacted us at all . In fact it was very convenient on those days when we didn't want to cook dinner. I would rent this place again for sure and I don't say that about most rentals

Quaint and trendy cottage

We had a lovely time at this clean bright cottage. The landscape was impeccable. Beautiful flowers and grass that felt like a rug. Small but perfectly thought out. The bathroom is amazing. I couldn’t wait to take a shower in it. Located close to everything. I will recommend this cottage to everyone I know . My son can’t wait to come again.

Start of Summer

We had a wonderful time at the Point Judith house. The inside of the home is adorable, the welcome basket was wonderful, and it had everything you need for a great vacation. I don't think we realized the location would be basically in the middle of the restaurant parking lot, which took some getting used to but after a few days we got used to it. Most days it wasn't too busy and everything else was so great.

This cottage was delightful, there were 5 of us, and initially we thought is may be too small, but it turned out just fine. We enjoyed the outside deck and shower. The location was very convenient to beaches and local restaurants. We really enjoyed our time, and found it hard to leave.

So relaxing...

The cottage is lovely and though smallish still worked well for 4 adults which included an 18 and 26 year old. The back deck was perfect for a family meal or reading, amazingly calm despite being next door to Iggys restaurant. And partially overlooking their parking lot. The location was walkable to many places-the beach, ice cream, etc. And Iggys doughboys and chowder were exceptional and right next door. Was a bit concerned initially when seeing the location next door to the restaurant but this turned out not to detract at all from a relaxing, fun experience

June-July 2020

June-July 2020 We spent about a month at the captains cottage and really loved it. We were greeted with a cute welcome basket which is much appreciated. The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you need- plenty of towels, linens, kitchen is fully stocked and has a Keurig machine. The bathroom is spa-like with great water pressure and a heating option, perfect when you come out of the shower. Bedrooms and living room all have tvs - the cable channels were odd but the tvs are equipped with Netflix and Hulu so we used that option. Washer and dryer in a separate room was a huge plus. We spent a lot of time on the back deck and enjoyed using the grill, patio furniture was very comfortable. There’s an outdoor shower which was great for washing off sand after the beach. The landscaping and flowers aligning the house are beautiful. Location is great- close proximity to Roger Wheeler beach (you can walk) and Scarborough is close too. Very convenient to be located on the same property as Iggys - staff was super friendly and helpful and dropped by to give us extra toilet paper, soap and anything else we needed. The only slight drawback are the occasional crowds at Iggys but we got used to it. Overall, I highly recommend and can definitely see my family returning next summer!

Summer Vacation

The cottage is about 2 minutes away from many of the local beaches. So the location was great for that. Also there is lots to do , if you do not feel like going to the beach. The owners and his staff were helpful and always checking to see that we had a good time. The place was very clean and cozy. I would recommend the cottage . The only thing I would say is if you are not that mobile then this would not be the place for you. there are several steps to the house and inside. My Mom who was on vacation with me could not climb into the bed with my Dad because it was too high. So my parents had to sleep separate for the week. I had to spend the week on the couch. Overall a Great Place. If you were planning on vacationing in Narragansent check it out.
