"It was smaller then any resort we have been to in a bit but that was nice not to walk all day. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Rooms are dated and the a/c blew air at best."

"Upon arrival after 4pm our room was not ready, they switched us to a room that was the first near the elevator which was inconvenient morning/night anyone waiting for it is talking & I had to speak to adults for singing down the hallway at night. At 6am&10pm chairs were being scraped against the floor above us. The room was clean but the fire alarm facing the bed & the green light continually flashes. If you’re a light sleeper or don’t have an eye mask it is troublesome for sleep. Communication on final cost is unclear, I was told there was nothing that would be on my bill after part of the charge dropped except anything charged to my room which was only roughly $40 but was charged all resort fees ($400+), at that time even after asking the staff before hand my bill total. Staff is friendly, the beach is well kept but I’d wear shoes as there are rusted beer caps in the sand & water. It’s a beautiful view, watching the cruise ships come to port & the sunrise is amazing. WiFi horrible.All staff I communicated with were very friendly & helpful. The different options of the water park, pool, beach, or boogie boarding make for a lot of choices of what to do. It’s by the boardwalk are with souvenirs & food. Food at the resort is pricey. $5 for a water. The bakery/coffee shop has great pastries & fruit cups at reasonable prices but the store is not. Ran out of sunscreen it was $35 for a bottle. It is a beautiful island with great people I unfortunately won’t choose here if I return."

"The overall experience was just something we could have easily avoided. I stayed to catch my other flight in the morning and I called a head of time to request a late check out and by 11 house keeping is knocking on my door aggressively asking me what time is my check out"

"The property is still very nice good value for price paid, staff friendly and inviting also helpful. It's a nice stay close enough to several main activities. Property does require some in room repairs and refinishing. But overall not bad at all. See you soon"

"I packed up and cut my vacation short it was a complete waste of money. For the cost of this hotel etc I expected so much more. 70% of the staff are either rude, ignore you or look at you like you’re an inconvenience. Two nights (out of the 3) I got sick from room service food. My safe didn’t work. My phone didn’t work. My tv hotel directory didn’t work. I waited 30 mins for my bags that were “right behind me” I was on hold for 30 mins waiting for someone to take my food order (one of the times I ordered in). The adults only pool was blocked off for events along with lots of seats at the quieter pool. I stood in front of the hostess at Cleo trying to get a reservation and mid sentence she saw her friend, hissed at her to get her attention and started gossiping with her… in front of me. This place is crawling with strollers, toddlers and families so if you’re looking for peace and quiet this is NOT where you will get it. I let the concierge know of all my issues and no one cared much. They lightly touched base but did zero to try and turn my stay there around. Even when I filled out their review link someone called to speak to me, I let them know when I could take a call and it’s been over a week, I guess they don’t care which follows suit with my stay. The food is insultingly expensive, I don’t mind paying BUT I expect good service and quality if I do. They could learn a thing or two from hotels in the Cayman’s or Bermuda. "Antoinette and Carmen were priceless. Simply Native, 50 meters from a fully stocked grocery, was quiet, air conditioned, and clean. Yes- a hidden gem. Though the 10+ minute walk to town along a common road with limited sidewalks was adventurous, we would take taxi’s after dark. We also noted that the daytime Cruise Ship population dictated when the town was “open” and were surprised how the town closed early evening. Regardless, hiking to “Twin Brothers” and “The New Duff” were added stops we’d recommend. Cheers."
