We loved the property! Modern amenities with historic charm! This place was perfect for us because it was located so close to downtown that we could walk to where we wanted to go! Our family had a wonderful stay here! Our son played ball at NSU over the past four days and this home was a perfect location. It was relaxing when we wanted to stay in, and close to shopping and restaurants at Front Street when we wanted to get out. A beautiful place!! Very nice house

The House was wonderful and perfect for three couples. We loved sitting on the deck. Lucas walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Property manager was very nice and easy to reach. Would definitely stay there again.

This property is a gem! The location is perfect for being walkable to all of the main attractions and dining. The gourmet kitchen was very well laid out and has everything you could possible need to entertain. Gorgeous outdoor area overlooking the river with a huge hot tub and fire pit table. We enjoyed the last December fireworks with a perfect view. We will definitely stay here the next time we are visiting Natchitoches!

Christmas Magic

Beautiful place. We went for the weekend to enjoy the downtown area and the Christmas lights and fireworks. We were able to walk downtown easily and enjoy all the sights. My daughter's boyfriend proposed at the waterfall. The drone show got cancelled because of the rain, which was a bummer since we drove 7 hours to see it and the fireworks. The next time we come to town for work, we hope we will be able to stay in the same place.

Great location, beautiful views of river and fireworks during Christmas Festival!

3 generations of family enjoyed a 4 night stay, lovely home, beautiful views, enjoyed the Christmas Festival fireworks and music from the fireworks show from the back porch and had a spectacular view from the dock! It was great to be close enough to walk to the shops, restaurants, and activities on Front Street, but far enough away to have privacy and not be in the middle of the crowd. Host had a surprise gift basket delivered after check-in and stayed in contact to make sure all was well throughout our stay. We also separately booked and enjoyed an evening electric carriage ride around downtown and they were able to pick us up and drop us off right in front of the house because it’s so close! Highly recommend this rental due to the location and ability to relax and enjoy the views and all that Natchitoches has to offer!

Updated Southern Home With River View

What was once a medium sized 1940’s era home has been updated, enlarged and landscaped beautifully. The great room, primary suite, and covered deck are gorgeous, with gorgeous river views. Tropical plants outside the great room and off the deck are stunning. The location is within 2 or 3 blocks of charming shops in the downtown and of the lovely riverfront park and walkway. Access to the house is very easy with a door code. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are all extremely firm. If you prefer a more pliable pillow, you may want to bring your own. The refrigerator has no ice maker but there are now ice trays for you to make your own. The individual cubes are dime sized so water freezes quickly if there is none when you arrive. Coffee pods are provided for the coffee maker. We were glad to see it was Community Coffee! This is a very pretty property with a great location and quick responses from the owner.

This home was the perfect setting for a long weekend in Natchitoches. The location was ideal, right on the Cane River and walking proximity to shops and restaurants. The home was well-appointed with ample space for cooking, dining, and lounging. We loved the back deck with comfortable furniture, big-screen TV, hot tub, swing, and a beautiful view of the river.
