Farmstay in Natchitoches Parish

"The room was clean but dingy. The bathrooms and rooms need an all over upgrade. The hallways are dark and dingy and smelled like marijuana smoke, very strongly. We did not receive any room service, cleaning, refresh of towels nor garbage removed while we were there. The mirror in the restroom clearly states that they will clean your room and refresh towels, etc. if we do not put the sign out. The staff were wonderful, they accommodate us the best way they could with what they had. They were very sweet and seemed they enjoy their job. I would give the staff a 10 out of 10. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast nothing to rave about, but it filled you up. No complaints there either. I wasn’t expecting an elaborate breakfast. The breakfast bar was a 10 out of 10. Air-conditioning work fine I’ll give that a 10 out of 10 as well. The only issues we had were the marijuana smell, the dark hallways that made it look dingy. The whole place needs an upgrade there’s paint missing everywhere such as the elevator, etc. some of the doors had towels in the corner so they would close properly."

"The breakfast was great. The woman who was working in the dining area was so helpful and kind. The desk staff were very friendly as well. Our room was clean and very comfortable. This is a great place to stay. "

"Fire alarm went off at midnight but there was no direction from staff. There was a loud and aggressive person under the influence that tore up the exit door trying to get back in. He roamed the hall screaming for about fifteen min and no one from the front desk would answer. We had to call the police. The hotel was clean but I will probably stay elsewhere next time I visit. "

"Never went to the ‘breakfast’ but the bed was comfortable. Room was dated and the bathtub had a covered hold in the base. NOT what we expected from the online pictures. Wasn’t aware it was a motel. We stayed for lack of energy. The front desk guy was very helpful and friendly. "
