“Our visit to the Sanna did not start well, there was a snafu with our reservation, resulting in us being moved to their eco lodge on arrival. The staff was very gracious in trying to make up for this, and the owner personally came to right this. The hotel is beautiful, i fully recommend upgrading the suite. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar that has beautiful views. The bell tower and market is within walking distance, however vendors make walking the streets annoying. They have a transfer……
“Really great deal for the price. Excellent staff. Interesting guests. Very talkative roosters nearby. Great places to shop and eat nearby. Highly recommend. ”
“This is a great hotel right in the middle of Arusha. Good breakfast, spacious rooms and a big beautiful garden to wander through. Take advantage of happy hour in the Hatari Bar.
A few notes: Arusha is a busy, noisy city and you're right in the middle of it. Don't expect rooms near the road to be quiet. Doesn't bother us as we live in a busy city, but might bother you if you're not used to it. The front desk will arrange a driver for you to take you wherever you need to go, but there are a……
“After climbing Kilimanjaro it was the perfect place to regroup before going on safari. Hotel staff was very attentive. Laundry service was excellent and reasonable. ”
“Very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was fantastic - we were leaving before breakfast on our last day and they kindly packed us to go boxes. Highly recommend!”
“We had a perfect stay, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. They provided breakfast boxes for us to take in the morning because we had to leave earlier than breakfast was going to be served. Great service and clean, big room!”
“good hotel with very good price. staff is very friendly and helpful. the food in hotel restaurant is very tasty, but as there is only a few staff, order earlier if you are hungry! ”
“I love this hotel! It’s clean and super safe (they have a security guard at the gate). The staff is helpful and welcoming. They can help you find restaurants, get a a taxi, even just answer questions about Tanzanian culture. Most speak very good English. The owner is onsite almost everyday and really nice. It felt like a home away from home. Don’t expect anything fancy though. The rooms are comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The top selling point is the atmosphere, which you can’t get at……
