“We had a fantastic stay at the Bear’s Den for Labor Day week/end 2025. The owners have done a wonderful job of making this a fantastic up north getaway in the woods. It was so peaceful and relaxing while also having all you need in terms of modern amenities. There were 7 of us plus a dog and we were all cozy and comfortable. You need to plan around the ferry for coming and going but we thought that added to the adventure and the kids loved it. Highly recommend. My parents already want to come……

“The house was clean and beautiful. The lake view is amazing! It's a wonderful private place to relax with plenty of activities/places to explore nearby. Any questions we had were answered by consulting the provided informational binder. The local host was available if needed.”

“Beautiful and spotless cabin on the water with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Charming and perfectly appointed it has everything you could need. The bed and pillows were very comfortable as was the living room furniture. David and Suki could write a manual on how to do VRBO right! Would highly recommend :) ”

“This was a perfect place to spend out Wedding Anniversary. It was clean, quiet, peaceful, and fully stocked with anything you could need. The hot tub was great! We didn't have an opportunity to use the sauna, but it was fun that it was even an option. My only, very small suggestion, would be to have more "comfy" seating around the two different fire places. If you wanted to sit by the fire, your options were bar stools or a small corner of the couch far from everything. (But let's be……
