"Room was good, bathroom had issues with the shower, spout was loose, so the spout had to be held to get the shower on. Bed was too high for a shorter person"

Breakers Resort & Beach Bar

"Where do I start? Everything was great at Breakers. I loved our lakeview room, the food & drinks at The Club were excellent, and all of the staff members we encountered were very friendly. We were there for the Mackinac Bridge Walk and I was so relieved that the hotel offered a shuttle so you didn't have to worry about finding parking. We will definitely be back!"

Island House Hotel

"We enjoyed our stay at Island House as it was centrally located. Shepler’s ferry transported our luggage to the hotel for us and we lined up for our luggage to be picked up and transported back to the ferry when we left the island. Very nice service to have so you didn’t have to transport your own luggage or get a horse drawn taxi. Enjoyed sitting out on the front porch rocking chairs in the morning and the front lawn chairs in the evening by the fire pit looking out over the bay. The bike rental in front of the hotel was also a plus. Hotel staff was friendly. The only drawback we incurred was low water pressure in our shower."

"Small cabin with two beds and a full bathroom. The cabins are packed right next to eachother and located on the main street of macinaw city. It may be a cabin, but you are not in the woods, lol. Some of the cabins allow dogs. The carpet was meh. It was basic, and had a mini fridge, no microwave. The highlight was access to the little indoor waterpark. My four year loved it! It was perfect size for her and the water was shallow. It was also freezing cold, but thata ok because when you are cold you can spend some time in the giant hot tub. The cabin was adequate, no frills... but the waterpark made the evening."

"This place is an absolute gem! We fell in love with the historic charm of the building, the fantastic location, and just how incredibly comfortable our stay was. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was perfectly clean. I especially loved having a private door with direct access outside. Having coffee, tea, and cookies available downstairs 24 hours a day was such a thoughtful and welcome touch! Our stay was truly wonderful, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The only minor downside was the TV setup—I couldn't cast from my device or find a guide to see what was playing on the regular stations. Even so, our overall experience was fabulous. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"This is the second time we have stayed here. This time it was wayyyy better than that first time. The pool and hot tub were both open and super clean. The workout room didn't have much but what they did have was enough to get a good workout. The room was great, a little outdated but we've stayed in numerous different hotels and motels in Mackinaw and they all are like that. The hotel staff cleaned our room daily and went above and beyond with it. We appreciated their effort. The breakfast was good for being free, Saves a family of 3 at least 50 dollars minimum a day by staying there. We will be booking with them again next year."
