“Great place, price is a little high, not quite much a beach . The view of sun setting was good and The motel offered everything it promise and yes it was up to date and clean.”

“The manager got us into a cottage when we arrived, very nice man. Cottage right on the beach, very quaint and rustic. Definitely be back again.”

“Air conditioner stopped blowing cold during the night, and was very loud. Water in tub ran brown the first 3 minutes, then finally ran clear. Room was clean, staff did a good job, room just hasn’t been updated in a very long time.”

“The hotel has a nice beach area with fire pits, which make for great Michigan evenings. Part of the Water Park is open but the big slides were not. Several guests, including myself, had issues with reserving a room type only to find out that it wasn't available. Since it was prepaid the hotel was not able to offer a solution. Overall works for an up-north trip.”

“I liked that I had an option for ocean view with balcony. HOWEVER, they should let you know that you may get a ground floor with a balcony 🙄 so you know with people on the beach, there's no privacy. You have to keep drapes drawn so they can't see in your room. Also, the front desk lady was borderline rude. After she was done with her spew (so I thought), I asked where breakfast was located, and she was snippy and let me know she will " get to that in a minute", I personally wouldn't stay there……

“There was an outdoor and indoor pool. Neither were clean. The water was murky. Parking was terrible if you have disabilities. We were told it was 516 for the four nights and were charged 560. We did not get the cabin we were told we were getting (2 bedrooms, 2 floor cabin) instead we got a small cabin with two beds squeezed in. There was fossilized dog poop on the grass, garbage took three days to be emptied. Lay down on the bed and the pillowcases smelled of men's cologne. Asked for……

“Front desk staff not very pleasant. Motel very run down and unkept. Very obvious no one cares about the place or guests. Pool was dirty and we wouldn’t even get in. Trash all along the beach. Very deceiving from pictures. Had alarm clock and coffee pot however neither had outlets to plug in near them only one was in bathroom right next to sink and cord had to go across sink real safe! I would not recommend this place at all. Exterior of place as disgusting.”

“The balcony had moss growing on it and the hand rail to room 28 was coming off the wall. The trash can for the room was super small. We told the housekeeper that was broke and no one came to fix it. We stayed for two nights and no one came to fix clean the room. With all the sand from the beach made the floor all sandy. The pictures online of the place were deceiving and the place on the outside did not match. The tiles in the pool were coming off.”

“We requested an accessible room. The bathroom was large, the countertop was elevated to accommodate wheel chair and there was a riser on the toilet. There was a tub which was not accessible. There are, I believe, 3 buildings. The pool was in the middle building and continental breakfast on second floor of building 3. If you have mobility issues, find other accomodations.”

“Staff was very friendly. Hotel was dated and needs repairs. Our screen door had the screen ripped so it was useless. Room had damp feel and odor. Water park definitely for younger kids. Rate for stay was definitely in line with quality of service and amenities. I definitely would not recommend it.”

“We liked being by the water and near the ferry. We didn’t like that it hasn’t been updated or maintained in a long time. The shower handle was broke, the recliner was broke, wall paper coming off and carpet was torn. The place was also very loud. People were playing loud music until after midnight and management didn’t stop them. For the money we paid, I wished we stayed at a different place.”
