When we arrived our room wasn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite. Yay!! The room was semi clean. There weren’t any towels in the room so we had to go and ask the front desk. When we pulled out the couch bed, there was used sheets and blanket. The bedside table and sitting area table was visibly dusty. Only one television in the room worked. Otherwise it was a decent stay, considering we visited in the winter and most places are closed for the season. Could just use a through cleaning and more attention to detail.

Absolutly gross. For 250 a night you would think the floors would be clean. Kleenex behind the pillows, heat unit was ungodly dirty, waterpark has mold all over by windows. Absolutely ZERO extras. Also no swimming the next morning as the pool is only open 2 to 10. Dont waste the money

room was freezing they gave us a new room but everything in the hotel was ice cold refrigerator didn't work water park was freezing the Jets don't work in the hot tub try to call to check out because no staff on property staff at other Hotel was rude on phone hung up on us wouldn't let us make reservations before 1:00 overall if the hotel was warm and refrigerator worked it wouldn't be so bad

Crown Choice did not have an open pool so we stayed at the Hamilton. Hamilton served all our needs! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and efficient! He helped get our service switched over to Hamilton at the same rate and room type! Older hotel but it is still decent! We enjoyed many of the amenities! Pool, hot tub, workout room, breakfast! Kids all felt safe and comfortable too!

Got a weekend for my son his wife and kids..they got there . Lobby closed.. thankfully someone told them they had to go to another hotel to register..had to go outside in swim suits as no changing room at water park.. very disappointed...

I contacted corporate with my concerns and was offered a certificate for a future stay. unfortunately we live in Louisiana and this was a one time experience to see some snow. the certificate was useless but when i tried to explain that i needed another form of reimbursement i was told no. the reason was and i quote " room service(meaning collecting trash and towels )was not a separate paid service" Last I checked collecting wet towels from rooms and replacing them was included in ANY hotel stay. We had essentially collected 4 days worth of towels for 5 people and accumulated as much trash, not including the trash that was there already.(we had a kitchenette so take into consideration food waste) we had the opportunity to speak with the front desk one time, otherwise it was closed and we had to use the hotel down the road for services.There were wires hanging from the ceiling where a smoke alarm was meant to be, a cigarette butt under our fitted sheet, we found that on night 3 when the sheet popped off the mattress. broken dresser, broken hairdryer. we were moved to a different room on our last night and same story, smoke alarm missing, tv in the back room didn't work. A pair of socks were in the bed, we returned those to housekeeping. The lights in the back didn't work. There was building supplies left out on the second floor dining as well. sauna didn't work. pool was great. Maintenance Man 100%customer service was not great. we deserved a little compensation for all that.
Safety hazard? we kept to doors open between the rooms because at first this was the only real problem, we just didnt want to cause a ruckus , also we didnt want to drive down the road to the other hotel to complain.
double gross, under the fitted sheet. it popped off when we tried to sit against the head board to watch a movie ( we slept on these sheets for 3 nights yall)
gross, my kid actually picked these up to show me , these were between the pillows ( they were stacked in a line like (III)not (_ _ _) you get the picture
found this when we switched rooms i was making sure we didn't forget anything and looked behind the side table. kids were excited to see an " ancient" alarm clock in the other room . they didn't realize they had one all along

Our stay was awesome other than the fact that our personal jacuzzi was dirty, being s previous house keeper I know to check the jacuzzi by running It before EVER getting into it, and it was FILTHY. also it think it’s great that myself and my boyfriend got passes to the water park, however the water park should say it’s SPECIFICALLY for children, and after I noticed that, it was fine, because I noticed they had a huge well heated pool and awesome big jacuzzi PLUS a sauna! For the adults! , however the sauna Did not work!! And that really sucked!! The bed was a king however it most luxury hotel rooms and for the price the mattress is much better than the one that was provided! But the room was very clean, that staff was great, although a little slow cause they were short staffed. I’m would probably end up booking at a different hotel where I know the beds are better and there is a water park for both adults and kids. overall out of 10 I would rate my stay a solid 6, and that’s only because without my voucher the rate for the deluxe room with the hands for the park just wasn’t worth it, considering how dirty the jacuzzi was and the fact that the bed could have been way comfier(considering other stays in cheaper hotels in mackinaw) and the fact that the water park wasn’t for adults at all and the sauna being broken.

It is a very outdated hotel. The staff was very nice. Our blow dryer was broken and the lady at the desk gave me one right away. It’s very outdated. Definitely not up kept with maintenance. If something is broken? It’s definitely not getting fixed. Very convenient for walking distance to anywhere. The water park was ok, again just not kept up on or cleaned correctly. Overall ok for the price.
