「I booked this cottage at fairly short notice We were attending an event nearby and so booked only one night but it is beautifully situated and the cottage was very nice, so I would happily have stayed longer. Communication easy and very prompt via Hotels.com app and once we arrived, the mobile number was available. Self check in was easy, key safe code provided in advance. Vicky arranged for us to store bikes securely in padlocked barn. Comfortable cottage, slept well, it is very quiet. There is...

「NEEDS IMPROVING. The location was fantastic, however there are several things that need work and whoever cleans the flat would know this. The freezer section of the refrigerator is one solid block of ice, pushing open the freezer door. It's so bad that a person needs to make sure the fridge door is closed. The shower hose and drain need attention. The drain gets plugged immediately. The bed is the absolute WORST bed I have ever slept on. I bet the mattress is several decades old. You feel...

There were dirty bed sheet in a wardrobe entrance. The wifi password was not given to us and after our arrival we had no answer at all from the property. Hopefully we have booked only one night. "We had a wonderful stay! The gardens are beautiful, and it was the perfect spot for a staycation with our blind Maltese (who gets around in a stroller). What truly blew us away was the service, when we arrived for breakfast, a staff member spotted us from afar and rushed over to open the door for us. Such a thoughtful touch! We would happily stay here again."
