Nestled in the heart of downtown Gruene, Old Mill Resort offers an array of conveniences and amenity. This prime location places you just steps away from the picturesque Guadalupe River and the vibrant attractions of this historic town. Immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to Gruene Hall, explore numerous shops, and savor delicious meals at renowned restaurants like the Gristmill. Just a short 10-15 min drive to other hotspots such as downtown New Braunfels and River Rd where the opportunity of nature lovers is endless! Come enjoy the Texas Hill country with us!

This fully furnished 3-bedroom condo is on the 2nd floor. There are 2 master suites offering king size beds w/ensuite baths. The 3rd bedroom is an upstairs loft offering a queen bed also offering an en suite bath. All 3 bedrooms have Smart TVs with streaming ability through WIFI. Premium linens and hotel size bathroom amenities provided. Fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer for convenience. 2 communal charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). Comfortable seating in the living room with a queen sofa sleeper. Enjoy the community pool from 9 AM - 9 PM daily.

The condo was very nice and clean. Plenty of room and nice to have two downstairs masters and a loft bedroom had a full baths well. We really didn’t need the amount of space it offered but chose the condo based off of location. Could easily accommodate larger groups comfortably. The host is quick to respond to questions we had. We did not encounter any issues during our stay and would book with this host again.

Overall, a great choice. The check-in and check-out process was super easy. The condo was beautifully appointed. AC worked great for our hot summer weekend. I'm giving it a 4 because some of the amenities were not easy to use. We couldn't change the speed of the fans, and some lightbulbs were out. The issues were reported and the owner said they would address them. We would stay here again. We had a great time.

Needs to be maintained

This is the third time I’ve stayed at this complex. The first two times had zero issues as everything worked and was in proper order. This trip as soon as we arrived we noticed a foul smell that was found to be coming from the garbage disposal drain in the sink. The water filter was hanging down in the fridge and could not be shut. There was zero WiFi for the duration of our stay due to there being no router in the condo at all. As we were were heading out to dinner at 630 on Monday night spectrum did show up and wanted to come in to work on the internet and said it would take approx one hour! Told them I would not be waiting for an hour to go eat dinner and they would have to come another time. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom on the left side was not secured to the wall. It was just pushed into the Sheetrock. The main light in one of the rooms could not be turned on since the pull cord for the light wasn’t there. The condo is nice but needs to be maintained! It would have been nice to been able to watch tv at night or for the children to be able to utilize their tablets w internet in the evenings. Also the pretzels that were left out on the table expires October of 2023!!! It should be noted that my previous two stays were in condos managed by new braunfels escape and this trip was managed by KOZE. Great location for anything in gruene and rocking r river tubes is across the street.

Great, except..

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. We love it for its size and proximity to Gruene but this time we had the wrong code at check in, the WiFi only worked sometimes and we didnt have AC which made for some uncomfortable sleeping conditions. We’d like to come back but aC is a must in the spring and summer months.

Fun get away

Had an amazing weekend for a bachelor trip which included river floating and bar hopping. We loved that we could walk down to the river and not have to worry about parking. The check in was a little difficult at first but Cari was on top of it and helped us through the process. Overall a really nice place to stay.
