Great River Getaway!

This place was spacious and in such a good location for our goal of floating the river. Walking distance to tube companies and with direct river access.

A+ Location + Very Quiet

We booked this location right after Labor Day, during the week. It was quiet, and we had the river mostly to ourselves. We chose this spot because of its proximity to Texas Tubes, our favorite place to drop in. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would stay here again.

Great location

Everything was great except for property manager. The location was great, the access to river was nice. The only thing was the manager yelling and badgering guests for parking permits. We were being told we were being loud, we had small childten with us. ? What do expect? Sorry will not be staying here again.

Great Location

Had a great time it’s located in a perfect part, easy river access, walking distance to downtown just one issue which bothered us is the fridge sucks we waited 24hrs like it stated and got stuck drinking warm drinks even on the coldest setting it wouldn’t keep the drinks cool heck the freezer couldn’t even freeze the ice for 2 nights so we got stuck drinking warm drinks on the river, I didn’t bring it up as we only had one night left before we left and the pool closes at 11 or 12 which is a bummer, Overall great experience if u want a prime location I would stay again, area was clean no complaints there and the bed was amazing would recommend if u wanna have a weekend get away

Nice place

Nice place. Served it’s purpose for our stay. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Could use some updating. Construction on streets to property sort of a pain but should be complete soon.

This condo is on a beautiful part of the Comal River, upstream from the most hectic parts. The condo had everything needed. The pull out couch was not comfy, but with 2 beds and a futon, we didn't need the couch.

Girls Float Trip

Myself and 7 girlfriends get together once a year to float the Comal, sit in a pool and catch up. We found the perfect place to stay! We are ready to book for next year and I plan on bringing my family here too! Texas Tubes is right next door making it so convenient to float. And the place was nice and comfortable.

Friends weekend

Great location close to tube rentals. It was crowded for 6 adults. Luckily we brought a foam mattress topper for the sofa bed. It would have been very uncomfortable without it.

Elevator went out-my husband got stuck between floors. My niece fell twice in the tub-very slippery. Our car would not fit in the covered parking area. The walk to the river and pool was a rather steep incline.Just not a great experience overall.

New Braunfels Stay

The property is very old. Our unit was clean and comfortable. There is good parking. The VRBO picture is misleading. We could barely see the river through the trees. And other than that, you are looking at the parking lot—not scenic at all. There is nothing within walking distance—restaurant, bars, places to visit. We travel a great deal and suggest that for over $600 for two nights, we would stay someplace better located and newer.

It was a great location. However, after a long day of travel we arrived to get our check-in information and the rental company sent the wrong door code. We had to wait 45 minutes to get the correct code to even get to the property location. That was definitely frustrating.

The property was clean and well taken care of with friendly staff. Any time I had a question or concern, staff was just a text away. I will be staying with NBE in the future and I will be recommending them to my friends. Whether, you are floating the River, laying by the pool or just hanging out on the property, you will not be disappointed.

Plenty of space for our boys to play football and swim in the pool when they got tired of the river. On Friday the "weekend" crowed moved in. They brought tables, canopies and took over the place! The kids couldn't even swim because of the amount of people and alcohol every where. I would recommend this place for the weekdays only if your bringing your kids. Great location, right up stream of the chutes and down stream from Landa falls.
