This place has the best of both worlds. Relatively secluded with river access and yet just 10 min walk into of Wimberley. Lovely home for a few nights stay.

We stayed at Frog Cottage for the second time and it does not disappoint. We had a great time with our 18-month old granddaughter watching the birds, deer and squirrels. Great stay!

Second Stay at Frog Cottage

We love the location and views at Frog Cottage. During our stay we made quick trips to the Guadalupe River and Schlitterbahn along with enjoying Wimberley. It was a perfect central location. We will stay there again!

We had a great stay at this property. Much more spacious than the pictures made it look. Beautiful property, lots of room outside. Kids had a great time swimming in the river and feeding the deer. Loved how it felt isolated but very close to town.

In love with the Frog Cottage

A perfect place to stay! Comfortable inside & out. Close to town and very quiet. Right on the river. Even though it’s the middle of a drought and the river is down to just pools, it’s so relaxing to see the animals that come to drink.

Perfect getaway

Located within walking distance of town, this was the perfect spot. Although rivers were dry there’s a spring fed swimming hole behind the property. Made for a great weekend.

Charming house on the river!

Perfect house to stay in for a visit to Wimberley. Very close to town square but has a secluded feel and is quiet with a beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed watching deer every morning and evening from the deck and generous windows. This house was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with the items needed to cook meals. All of the decor added to the charm of this house we would stay in again without hesitation.

Sweet and Relaxing

Time to catch up on life with friends sitting on deck in the evenings and enjoying the several hang out rooms inside. Large windows make the river seem close. And at night the lightening bugs covered the outside. Close enough to Wimberley to shop and eat a leisurely late lunch. But sitting on the back deck for wine and appetizers and sharing was the best. A storm went through out 2nd night downing leaves and large limbs. The owners cousins stopped by and even blew off the deck so we could sit outside that last evening.

Oh I love this house. Its not that far from Wimberly, Right on the Blanco river. And everything about this house is so beautiful ,the decorations ,the way the house was set up .Away from the city and the noise. And had no problem communication with renter. Love the deck thats were we were at most of the time lol.Will be coming again and hopefully this cute little charming house will be available .Loved seeing the deer in the morning come through the yard to.Thank yall again for letting us stay

A quick weekend get a way

The property was great, very relaxing and plenty of space. Access to the lake was challenging ... due to the drought the water was very low. I don't know what the "usual" depth of the river is, but it was slow and it didn't flow. So that was disappointing, but it's not the fault of the property owners. I would suggest they add better photos of the river access to give an accurate depection of the river as it normally looks so guests can be prepared for the typical river access. We were not able to easily get in the water without slipping and cutting our feet. I'd just recommend prior to booking to discuss with owner the status of the river near the time of the booking. Otherwise great property! Beautiful grounds as well.
