“It’s just that there’s no one at the front desk. It’s very inconvenient when we need some help and there’s no employee at the front desk to help. The room was okay but windows couldn’t open and it’s poor ventilation. But very quiet and safe. Coffee machine very not clean and bathroom are very small.”

“The room was neat however the bathroom on 3rd floor was under maintenance and hence had to share the 1 on the 1st floor. The property cannot keep luggage post checkout which was a huge inconvenience since I had to find a storage space and go there. They allowed me to check in a couple hours earlier and that was really helpful. So they do try to accommodate when they can. Additionally great location, alot to see in walking distance.”

“We booked Bear Mountain Lodge for one night, but wish we could’ve stayed for more! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. He sent detailed information for our arrival and it was quick and easy. The signs posted to the lodge were helpful and clear. The lodge and our room were very clean. Our room had a separate bathroom for our room (Deer Room) and it was fine by us. The Lodge was super quiet as well despite the rooms all being booked. I do wish there were blinds to block out the light in……

“Rooms were exactly what the website showed and described, everything in working condition, clean and maintained! Hands down the staff bring the warm feeling!! Each day was a different adventure and the staff sent us out with full bellies and smiles, and welcomed us home each evening!!! Lobstah dinner was delicious!!”

“The building is very well maintained and filled with unique furniture suitable to the age of the property. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast!”
