Enjoy walking distance to Pemaquid Beach and deeded oceanfront access directly across the street from this charming ocean-view cottage. Historic cultural sites like Fort William Henry and the Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site are just over a mile away. The Rachel Carson Preserve is within a three-mile drive and the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is four miles away. Damariscotta-Newcastle is 13.7 miles away.

At home, ocean views abound whether you're spending time out on the furnished deck or relaxing in the sunny living area. The full kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to plan and prepare home-cooked meals. There's also a gas grill for summertime cookouts.

Birthday Celebration Weekend

The property was just the right size for six adults with plenty of space for relaxing both inside and out. It was also ideally situated allowing us to see as much as possible on the east and west sides of the Moosehead Lake area during our two day visit. We will definitely be back!

Property was very clean and in excellent condition. Power was lost during the stay but property has a generator so stay not effected by the outage.

Everything we needed

Well supplied with towels, extra blankets, pillows. Like new interior, lovely gardens. Dock views of sunset and Kineo. Worked out well for our adult family group. Would stay again if available for our yearly trek.

Perfect for snowmobile trip!

Our group of 6 travel to the area every year for a snowmobile trip. The location can’t be beat! ITS 66 is literally in the back yard, and the home is just minutes by sled from food, fuel, and a sled repair shop. The property manager was easy to reach by text, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay perfect.

Spacious, clean, close to Kineo. Large bedrooms and very nice large bathrooms. Dangerous set of lower stairs that one of our guests had a lot of problems with. Overall a clean place to stay with easy access to Rockwood, Greenville etc.

Great house on Moose River

Had a group of 7 guys stay for a week of fishing on Moosehead Lake. Beautiful, clean, well provisioned modern house. This is a serious step up from the fishing camps we usually stay at. And when we realized the gas grill didn’t have a tank, they had one delivered within a couple hours. Incredible service!!

Lovely rental, newly renovated. Leak in 2 bedrooms but managed with bowls to collect drips and towels. Difficulty with internet TV not being optional. Would prefer cable or dish. Great for snowmobiling as trail right out the back. Parking great. Great view of Moose River. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 8 days, the house is comfortable and we enjoyed the stay. 3 Suggestions - Dishwasher did not work, did not have power. More towels for drying dishes would be helpful. Bed in downstairs bedroom is pretty worn out, would be good to consider replacing. Other than that it is warm, well lit and clean.

Mattresses are unacceptable

As all previous reviews stated, the mattresses need replacing and these reviews have been posted FOR YEARS. The owners obviously don’t plan to replace them. The home is beautiful and well decorated with essentials. But the road noice is disruptive and the WiFi is spotty.

Immaculately clean and very nice; grill needs to be maintained better

Very clean; outdoor deck was lovely and peaceful overlooking the backyard and forest; loved the new decor; bathrooms were great; bedrooms were great. We were disappointed not to be able to use the grill because it was a fire hazard; it did not have a grease pan, and all the debris and grease from previous cookouts were on the bottom of the grill.
