The hotel is old, has great character and the location is terrific. It was recently remodeled and done nicely. In our room, we couldn't control the air/heat and the shower leaked water all over the floor. Not a big deal that an extra towel couldn't absorb. We had an inside studio room which is very small and we could hear every word said in the adjoining rooms from normal conversation. Expect noise and bring ear plugs when trying to sleep. The hotel staff were terrific. Overall, I have mixed feelings. The hotel was cool, staff was very nice and helpful but with all the options available in New Orleans, I think I would consider a different place next time.

The first day there was no hot water. There was no heat either the first or second day. When I reported this, they put an engineer on the task. When I returned to the room, it was warm, but the thermostat would not turn on.

the staff was super courteous & helpful. very friendly but, failed to let me know about daily credit i could use for restayrant or snacks in lobby? the room was clean but, did have a smell? stale cigarettes? draw was peloton bike but, had to sign up and provide private info to have it work. didn't want to share my personal info so, a waste to pick a room that had a peloton bike.

My friend and I stayed at this property for 3 nights and we have zero complaints about the staff and the hotel itself. Kerry, who checked us in, was accommodating and very nice. He and another gentleman gave us restaurant suggestions that turned out to be great. I recommended this hotel to another friend before checking out! Will definitely stay here again.

My room had no windows; multiple guests had problems with heating and hot water. Mine had no water briefly on arrival and no hot water for a shower on last morning @ checkout. Street was dark and didn’t feel great after dark (construction & skips blocking sidewalk on one side of street - felt the need to be careful which route I used to walk home after dark.

This was by far the worst hotel I've been to in year. First i have to start with booking a room and requesting a rollaway bed at the time of booking and hours before arriving just to get to the room with no rollaway bed. Went to the front desk and was informed for the first time that my room couldn't have a rollaway bed due to a fire hazard. The property only had one ice machine out of 4 that was working. There was only 1 trash can in the entire room. The housekeeping instead of using fresh bag for their trash can used our used grocery bags from shopping. Paid for a room with a microwave and had to go back and forth with the front desk because they didnt believe that the room i booked had a microwave; which i later had to show was advertised on their website. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so the humidity from the shower always left the ceiling dripping with water. Also was informed to to the lack of staffing that it was our job to leave our room and go all the way down to the lobby to throw out our trash. This was my first and will likely be my last stay at a hilton property.

My partner and I chose Hotel Theo for our honeymoon/6th month anniversary but had an underwhelming experience. We were checked into room 811, not the studio with a king bed we booked. It was 35 degrees, and our room had no heat despite the thermostat being set to 78 for hours while we were out. The room smelled of sulfur, and the TV remote was missing. I couldn't reach the front desk from the room phone and had to call from my cell. We reported the issues around 10:30 pm and waited 15-20 minutes for a response. After another call, a staff member gave us a new key for room 311 but couldn't confirm if it had working heat. We switched rooms for comfort but moved our bags at 11pm without help, only to find the heat was off in the new room too. Adjusting the thermostat to 90 degrees didn’t help; it blew cold air instead. We reported it to the front desk at 10pm but received no follow-up. At 11pm, we learned Engineering wouldn’t arrive until the next morning. Corey, the only attendant, offered blankets we had to collect ourselves in pajamas. A sulfur smell persisted in our room and in the hallway with no explanation. It was a disappointment. Despite weeks of research, I was confident in our choice to celebrate our new marriage in New Orleans at Hotel Theo. However, the lack of nighttime staffing was frustrating, and it felt insulting to have a cold room while the lobby was comfortable. The 4-star rating doesn't reflect our experience; our best moments were away from Hotel Theo.

The room was nice. We asked for a fan and they didnt have one. There wasn't a fridge. No over head light. And you had to buy breakfast. The coffee maker didnt work we paid 370 dollars with parking. But everything else was amazing the room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfy and clean and it was easy to find our room we felt bery safe i will be coming back.
