NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED
The property is not 10 minutes from the French Quarter, it is at least 20 minutes away. Upon entering the property the house has a smell of mildew & moth balls. There is chipped paint throughout the property which is dangerous especially if you're traveling with children. The wood floors are warped and uneven causing you to trip as you walk. In the kitchen the dishes are dirty, the glasses and cups have lipstick prints all over them but they are in the cabinet as though they are clean. The cutlery is rusted and dirty, the tray that they are in is rusted, we had to purchase our own. The water pressure in the kitchen is so weak that it is almost dripping & never got hot. The furniture in the living room & dining room is old & need to be replaced especially the sunken couch. There is mold throughout the property including the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The bed in the master bedroom was hard as bricks, so hard that no one could sleep in it. The owner lives upstairs with 2 dogs that constantly bark. The owner wakes very early & walks so hard across the floor as though she's coming through the ceiling. The property is filled with personal belongings in all of the closets, therefore leaving no room for guests to store their belongings. This property is not worth the money & couldn't be safe with mold throughout. I find it very hard to believe that VRBO advertises a property like this on their website. If there were any vacancies anywhere in the city we would have left the property. Don't let the pictures fool you! Keep your money & stay somewhere that's not a hazard to your health & where you can rest & relax comfortably!
